Well, it’s a sad time to be Netflix. Both “The Office” and “Friends” are leaving the streaming service in the coming years. Which means it’s also a sad time to be a Netflix user.

“The Office” is the most streamed show on the platform, followed by “Friends” according to WPTV.

HBO Max picked up “Friends” for five years starting in 2020. So, how much did it cost them to be the exclusive carrier of the sitcom? That would be a mere $425 million.

“The Office” will stick around for a little bit longer. NBCUniversal will launch their own streaming service and start the show in January of 2021 per Vulture.
