There’s a new petition out there to change the date of Halloween to the last Saturday of October. Petitioners argue that it promotes parents to accompany their kids while trick-or-treating and also gives a beloved holiday more celebration time. According to USA Today, the petition is looking for 75,000 signatures in order to be presents to the president for review. As I write this, it’s approaching 71K and may reach the goal in no time.

If you’re down with changing the day we celebrate Hallow’s Eve, sign the petition right here.

If you’re not… something tells me there will still be people who celebrate on October 31 and they are probably the same ones who “still call it Deer Creek.”
