A METEOR BURST INTO FLAMES ABOVE SOUTH AFRICA . . . AND THE WHOLE THING WAS CAUGHT ON TAPE:
Two Saturdays ago, a meteor entered the atmosphere and burst into flames over Johannesburg, South Africa.
--A few days later, officials with the Johannesburg Planetarium asked witnesses to send in video of the meteor, and on Wednesday the footage was posted online.
--Now, South African officials are trying to determine where the meteor landed in order to examine its remains. (Daily Telegraph / Sun)
