National Start Walking Day
Wednesday, April 7th from 11a-1p
Monument Circle
Wear your sneakers to work and join the American Heart Association from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Monument Circle to kick off National Start! Walking Day. On National Start! Walking Day, adults nationwide pledge to walk more and become healthier. Walking has the lowest drop-out rate of any activity. You already know how and you can do it pretty much anywhere. Plus, fancy equipment is not required - just a good pair of sneakers or walking shoes. Just 30 minutes of walking a day puts you on the path to better health. And if you're short on time you can divide that 30 minutes into two 15-minute segments or three 10-minute segments. It's that simple!! Contact Whitney Craig @ 317.432.4700 for more information.
