Is 'N Sync Reuniting for a Performance at the "VMAs" This Weekend?
Rumor has it there could be an 'N SYNC reunion at the "MTV Video Music Awards" on Sunday night. And yeah, it WOULD include JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE . . . and they WOULD perform.
MTV has already announced that Justin is performing, but now the "New York Post" is reporting that the rest of 'N Sync . . . LANCE BASS, J.C. CHASEZ, JOEY FATONE and CHRIS KIRKPATRICK . . . will join him for a short set.
Meanwhile, a so-called "MTV source" tells "Us" magazine that the producers are "trying to make it happen" . . . and that the reunion is, quote, "coming together."
There's no official word from MTV or any of the members of 'N Sync, but Lance did Tweet, quote, "Thank you to all the 'N Sync fans for all the kind words! Y'all truly are the best. So proud of Justin getting the ['VMAs'] Vanguard Award!"
For what it's worth, the "Post" adds that the other four 'N Sync members were spotted together in the V.I.P. section at Justin's concert with JAY Z in Miami on Friday night.
'N Sync last performed together back in 2004 . . . when they sang the National Anthem at a children's charity event. Their last televised performance was at the Grammys in 2003, during a tribute to the BEE GEES.
