Miley Cyrus Had a Homeless Guy Accept Her "VMA" Award Because of the Backlash She Got Last Year
MILEY CYRUS had a young homeless dude named Jesse accept her Video of the Year award at the "MTV Video Music Awards" on Sunday . . . at least partially because of the backlash she got after her performance with ROBIN THICKE at last year's show.
In a radio interview yesterday, Miley said, quote, "I just didn't realize my platform, I didn't realize my power. I really realized it after the'VMAs' [last year] . . . no matter what I do, there's no winning or losing, it's just going to be talked about.
"So what do I want them to talk about? . . . Because I don't think what I was trying to say is what happened the year before. The reason it was so important at the 'VMAs' is because it's for young people.
"Jesse is my same age and that's what this show is for. I think people need to see this . . . at least, I know I did after last year . . . to remember what matters."
Emmy Highlights and Memorable Moments
"Breaking Bad" went out in style last night, capturing six Emmys for its final season . . . but that wasn't enough to go out with the MOST Emmys of the night. That honor went to"Sherlock". I was surprised and super excited about this. I thought that it was just me, my husband and few other friends who we demanded watch this show that even knew about it!
"Sherlock: His Last Vow", snagged seven Emmys, including Best Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH. And JULIANNA MARGULIES won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for "The Good Wife". She also won it in 2010.
GWEN STEFANIannounced a win for "The Colbert Report" as the Best Variety, Music, or Comedy Series. But she mispronounced it "The Col-BOAR Report". But it was nowhere near as bad as John Travolta's "Adele Dazeem" Oscar moment.

Jennifer Lopez Got Skittles from Casper Smart at the "VMAs"
JENNIFER LOPEZand CASPER SMART both attended the "VMAs" Sunday night, but the official word is they weren't together. Casper was supposedly there to support NICKI MINAJ, because he did some choreography for her.
But Casper WAS seated right in front of J-Lo, and at one point he even turned around to pour some SKITTLES into her hand. Sharing Skittles is a pretty big deal. That might point to a reconcilation.
The Highest-Paid Male TV Actors
"Forbes" has put together their annual list of "The Highest-Paid Male TV Actors" . . . and for the THIRD year in a row, "Two and a Half Men" star ASHTON KUTCHER is #1. He's raking in $26 million over the past year.
His co-star JON CRYER is second with $19 million . . . along with "NCIS" star MARK HARMON who made the same amount. Interestingly enough, nine of the Top 15 actors are or were on CBS shows.
Here's the complete Top 15:
1. Ashton Kutcher, "Two and a Half Men", $26 million
2. A tie between Jon Cryer of "Two and a Half Men" and Mark Harmon of "NCIS", with $19 million each.
4. Neil Patrick Harris, "How I Met Your Mother", $18 million
5. A tie between Patrick Dempsey of "Grey's Anatomy" and Kevin Spacey of Netflix's "House of Cards", with $16 million each.
7. Tim Allen, "Last Man Standing", $15 million
8. Simon Baker, "The Mentalist", $13 million
9. Jim Parsons, "The Big Bang Theory", $12 million
10. A tie between Jason Segel from "How I Met Your Mother" and Johnny Galecki of "The Big Bang Theory", with $11 million each.
12. A THREE-WAY tie between Jon Hamm of "Mad Men", Charlie Sheen of "Anger Management", and Josh Radnor of "How I Met Your Mother", with $10 million apiece.
15. Bryan Cranston, "Breaking Bad", $8 million
The numbers were taken from June of last year up through this past June . . . so the big salary bumps for the "Big Bang Theory" stars were NOT included, which is why they're kind of low on the list. Next year will be a different story.
As usual, not ALL of this money came from the actors' TV salaries. It includes movie roles and endorsement deals as well. So, Tim Allen's Vegas stand-up money is also a part of his overall take.

The MTV VMAs . . . Highlights and Memorable Moments
For the second straight year, MILEY CYRUS tried to steal the show at the MTV Video Music Awards. But it was for a VERY different reason this time.
Miley's "Wrecking Ball" won Video of the Year, but instead of taking the stage, she sent up a young guy named Jesse, who revealed that he's HOMELESS.
He accepted the award for the, quote, "1.6 million runaways and homeless youth in the United States who are starving, lost and scared for their lives right now."
He also directed people to Miley's Facebook page, where she's asking people to donate to My Friend's Place, a homeless center for young people in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, on the total opposite end of the social consciousness spectrum, we have the Kardashians. Specifically, KIM KARDASHIAN and KENDALL and KYLIE JENNER . . .
Who appeared to be TEXTING while COMMON was talking about Ferguson, Missouri and asking for a moment of silence.
Other than that, the show was pretty unremarkable. A lot of people thought NICKI MINAJ was going to bring the raunch when she did"Anaconda", but aside from a little twerking, it wasn't that bad. Especially compared to Miley's antics last year.
Nicki did have a wardrobe malfunction when she did a quick change and came back out to do her verse on "Bang Bang" with JESSIE J and ARIANA GRANDE.
For some reason, the front of her outfit wouldn't stay closed, so she had to hold it together with her hands.
BEYONCÉ closed the show by accepting the Video Vanguard Award. And she accepted it from JAY Z, who took the stage with their daughter BLUE IVY after Beyoncé did a 16-minute medley of songs from her latest album.
In a "we're-so-not-getting-divorced" show of support, Jay even called his wife, quote, "the greatest living entertainer."
Beyoncé also won Best Video with a Social Message for "Pretty Hurts", and Best Collaboration for "Drunk in Love" with her husband Jay-Z. But those weren't announced during the broadcast.
Here are the rest of the big winners:
Video of the Year: Miley Cyrus, "Wrecking Ball"
Best Male Video: Ed Sheeran, "Sing"
Best Female Video: Katy Perry, "Dark Horse"
Best Hip-Hop Video: Drake, "Hold On (We're Going Home)"
Best Pop Video: Ariana Grande, "Problem"
Artist to Watch: Fifth Harmony, "Miss Movin' On"
Best Rock Video: Lorde, "Royals"
Best 'Lyric Video': 5 Seconds of Summer, "Don't Stop"
The Emmy Awards Will Be Handed Out Tonight
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by SETH MEYERS, will air NBC tonight at 8 p.m. ET. Gwyneth Paltrow is "Very Happy" for Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence
GWYNETH PALTROWisn't bitter or jealous that CHRIS MARTIN has hooked up with JENNIFER LAWRENCE.
A so-called "source" says, quote, "She's very happy for Chris, that he has moved on and found someone else. Their split has been remarkably amiable and they both just want the best for one another."
Besides, Gwyneth has moved on herself. She's reportedly nailing "Glee" co-creator BRAD FALCHUK.
"Sin City" Bombed . . . and "Guardians of the Galaxy" Took Back the #1 Spot
None of new movies made significant waves at the box office this weekend. The best was that out-of-body teen drama "If I Stay", which made $16.4 million in 3rd place.
The "Sin City" sequel bombed HARD, bringing in just $6.5 million in 8th place. The original opened to nearly $30 million in 2005.
"Guardians of the Galaxy" reclaimed the #1 spot from "Ninja Turtles", though there was less than a million dollars separating the two. Here are this week's Top 5 movies:
1. "Guardians of the Galaxy", $17.6 million. Up to $252 million in its 4th week.
2. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", $16.8 million. Up to $146 million in its 3rd week.

Nick Cannon Confirms That He and Mariah Carey are Separated
NICK CANNON admitted yesterday that he and MARIAH CAREY are separated. He said, quote, "There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months."
He didn't say WHY they split. He just added, quote, "My main focus is my kids." Mariah's rep refused to comment, saying her focus is, quote, "on her children and her upcoming tour."
There's still plenty of speculation, of course. One source claims the beginning of the end came when Nick admitted on a radio show that he had once hooked up with KIM KARDASHIAN. Mariah did NOT appreciate him making that public . . . and she got even MORE upset when Nick revealed that she didn't give it up to him until they were married.
She also hates that he takes every gig that comes his way, even though they don't need the money. Sources say he likes to work so people won't think he's living off Mariah's money. And that Nick is reportedly fed up with Mariah's, quote, "diva antics."
Meanwhile . . . Nick took the Ice Bucket Challenge in nothing but a towel. And it reminded us of the ENORMOUS "Mariah" tattoo he has across his back. It's gonna suck getting that lasered off.
Jennifer Aniston Says She Stays Home to Avoid Being "Bullied on the Internet"
JENNIFER ANISTON doesn't want to be chased down by the paparazzi and ridiculed online for something she says or does . . . so to avoid that, she and her fiancé JUSTIN THEROUX stay holed-up in their house.
She tells Britain's "Express" newspaper, quote, "You do the best you can, but it feels like it's getting worse and very nasty because of bullying on the Internet. Even movie critics don't just comment on the film, they tear people apart on a human level.
"I don't know why that is happening but it is . . . [so] we just stay home so there really isn't anything to report.
Pamela Anderson Won't Do the Ice Bucket Challenge . . . Because She Says the ALS Association Does Animal Testing
If you've dared PAMELA ANDERSON to take the Ice Bucket Challenge, I have bad news for you: She's not doing it. And it's because she claims the ALS Association supports ANIMAL TESTING.
In a note on her Facebook page she said, quote, "Sorry, I can't bring myself to do your Ice bucket challenge . . . I thought instead I'd challenge ALS to stop animal testing.
"Recent experiments funded by the ALS Association, mice had holes drilled into their skulls, were inflicted with crippling illnesses, and were forced to run on an inclined treadmill until they collapsed from exhaustion.
"Monkeys had chemicals injected into their brains and backs and were later killed and dissected."
Then she listed statistics that supposedly prove animal testing really doesn't work, and urged fans to, quote, "find and support charities that never harm animals and which pour their time and resources into advanced, promising, human-relevant cures."
Meanwhile, PINK'S husband CAREY HART also refused to take the challenge, but not really on moral grounds. He donated to ALS instead. But he did call out the whole concept.
He Tweeted, quote, "It's extremely creepy and annoying how obsessed people are with this ice bucket challenge. The purposes is to raise money for an awful disease.
"If you are that into seeing people dump buckets of ice water over their heads, go find a wet t shirt contest. Time to find a hobby, people."

MARIAH CAREY and NICK CANNON may be heading in the divorce direction.
The "New York Post" claims Nick is currently living out of HOTELS because they're fighting all the time. One of their issues is that Mariah doesn't TRUST him.
Sources say she has suspected him of cheating in the past, and when he hosted a series of pool parties in Vegas earlier this year, she sent a security guard with him to KEEP THE LADIES AWAY.
Another source says Nick is fed up with Mariah's, quote, "diva demands", and can't stand her anymore . . . quote, "Nick loathes that Mariah treats him like her servant. She gives him a chore list and barks orders at him."
The source says Nick is waiting for Mariah to file for divorce, and when she does, he's going to gun for a chunk of her estimated $500 million fortune.
Nick and Mariah have 3-year-old twins named Moroccan and Monroe. She's 44, he's 33.

Is Gwyneth Paltrow Counseling Beyonce Through Her "Split" with Jay Z?
We still don't know if rumors of a BEYONCÉ / JAY Z split are true, but if they are, then there's no reason THIS can't be true as well . . .

The NFL doesn't pay musical acts to perform on the Super Bowl halftime show . . . and now, they're reportedly trying to get musicians to pay THEM for the PRIVILEGE of taking the stage.
The "Wall Street Journal" says the league has narrowed their wish list for this year's game down to three acts: RIHANNA, KATY PERRY, and COLDPLAY.
According to sources, league reps have been checking around to see if anyone would PAY to play . . . and naturally, the people they've talked to have NOT been super receptive to that.
The NFL hasn't commented directly. A spokeswoman merely said their contracts with performers were confidential, and that their only goal was to, quote, "put on the best possible show."
The Super Bowl halftime show has become a prestige gig, but it's hard to believe anyone would pay the NFL to do it.
It's also hard to believe the NFL is apparently IGNORING THE PEOPLE . . . who obviously want to see WEIRD AL YANKOVICget the gig. As of last night, the petition to see Weird Al perform was up to 126,000 supporters.

Casey wanted to be buried in his hometown of Los Angeles, California, his home for over 53 years We believe the representations made to you have been perpetuated by not only Jean, but her daughter Liberty because of the ongoing investigation from local authorities of criminal elder abuse."

"Saturday Night Live" Announcer Don Pardo Has Died
Legendary "Saturday Night Live" announcer DON PARDO died last night at his home in Tuscon, Arizona. He was 96. No other details of his death were released.
Pardo was with "SNL" from its debut in 1975. But he was already a 31-year veteran at NBC by then. He was also the announcer on the original versions of the game shows "Jeopardy!" and "The Price Is Right".
And he was one of the first people to inform America that PRESIDENT KENNEDY had been shot on November 22nd, 1963.
Pardo was replaced on "SNL" during the 1981 - '82 season, but only missed a handful of other shows due to illness. In 2004 he was given a lifetime contract with NBC. Apparently, he and BOB HOPE were the only two people with that honor.
Don's first name was actually Dominic. But when he got into radio and started going by "Dom" everyone messed it up and called him "Don" instead . . . so he said, "The heck with it; I'll be Don."

McConaughey proudly wore his fanny pack to the Astros / Red Sox game on Sunday, and even sang its praises when a local TV station interviewed him. He said, quote, "I'm not afraid of the fanny pack."
But he did have one important piece of advice . . . quote, "You gotta kinda put it on the side to make it look a little not-as-nerdy, but still . . . I got so much gear in here that I don't want in my pockets, I'm not afraid of the fanny pack."
He added, quote, "They'll come back, they're on the way back. Some decade from now."

She says, quote, "I want to put a lot of photos and cool stuff, it will probably be like a trilogy, like 'Harry Potter' because there's so many."
Lindsay probably WON'T spend much time on that SEX LIST that leaked earlier this year.
She says, quote, "I would never write to violate someone else or objectify them, that's not my intention. I like to write because it's like therapy for me."
Lindsay says she wants her story to be an inspiration to young people who are going through troubles of their own . . . quote, "There's the excitement of the life that I have lived but I've seen a lot and if I can help anyone that might feel like its ok to screw up, it's OK to feel lonely, or ugly or to feel overweight or underweight."
"I've experienced all that, so if I could help a boy or a girl . . . I've been bullied in school from doing movies and going back to regular school. If I could help other kids with that . . . that's why I am doing the book."

Justin Timberlake Called Madonna His "Ninja" . . . And Got Blasted on Twitter
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKETweeted a birthday message to MADONNA, where he called her, quote, "my mother chucking ninja" . . . and got BLASTED for it, because "ninja" is viewed as a replacement for the N-word. He ended up taking it down.
Here are some of the comments he got . . . "Justin, you know better." . . . "Bruh. You went too deep." . . . and "I knew Justin Timberlake was getting too close for comfort with black culture but now he is saying ninja."
A lot of posts mentioned the racial tensions in Ferguson, Missouri . . . like this one, quote, "Justin Timberlake chose *this* week to call Madonna 'my ninja'? I just can't."
On a lighter note, an 8-year-old autistic boy named Julian wanted nothing more than to see Justin in concert. But he DID get more. He got Justin leading the entire arena in singing"Happy Birthday" to him.

"The Expendables 3" bombed at the box office, bringing in just $16.2 million in 4th place. That's the worst opening for any of the"Expendables" movies. The first one made nearly $35 million in 2010 . . . and the sequel made $28.6 million in 2012.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" came in #1 for a second week, earning another $28.4 million. "Let's Be Cops" debuted in 3rd place with $26.1 million . . . and "The Giver" made $12.8 million in 5th place.

Rob Schneider Thinks a Parkinson's Drug May Have Killed Robin Williams
Actor ROB SCHNEIDER thinks prescription medication may have led to ROBIN WILLIAMS' suicide. He Tweeted, quote, "Now that we can talk about it #RobinWilliams was on a drug treating the symptoms of Parkinson's. One of the side effects is suicide."
We don't know what drugs Robin was or wasn't taking for Parkinson's. We don't know how Rob Schneider knows, either.
But a so-called "source" close to Robin had this to add . . . quote, "A lot of Robin's friends are convinced that the cocktail of prescription pills he was on somehow contributed to his mental state deteriorating as quickly as it did.
"Robin had always suffered from depression and addiction but the diagnosis and treatment of his Parkinson's was new, as was the combination of drugs he was on."
Some entertainers will tell you that their education was a waste of time . . . but KATY PERRY isn't one of them. She's basically admitting that she isn't as intelligent as she'd like to be.
She tells Yahoo, quote, "I'm kind of bummed at this stage that I didn't have a great education because I could really use that these days."
Katy dropped out of high school during her freshman year . . . and before that, she went from school to school, because her parents were pastors and were always on the move. On top of that, she wasn't always getting the best instruction.
She says, quote, "I was being pulled out of school, even in the middle of school . . . and sometimes being home-schooled. Sometimes we were sent to these really half-Christian, half-education, I-don't-know-what-they-were schools."
So, she's trying to learn as much as she can as an adult. She says, quote, "I've learned to educate myself at this stage and how to continue my education at any age. I'm going on 30 and I'm still very thirsty for information."
Robin Williams Had Parkinson's Disease
ROBIN WILLIAMS was suffering from Parkinson's disease when he died earlier this week.
His wife Susan issued a statement saying, quote, "Robin's sobriety was intact and he was brave as he struggled with his own battles of depression, anxiety as well as early stages of Parkinson's Disease, which he was not yet ready to share publicly.
"It is our hope in the wake of Robin's tragic passing, that others will find the strength to seek the care and support they need to treat whatever battles they are facing so they may feel less afraid."
Parkinson's is a progressive disorder of the nervous system. MICHAEL J. FOX was diagnosed with it in 1991.
After he heard yesterday's news, Fox Tweeted, quote, "Stunned to learn Robin had PD. Pretty sure his support for our [charitable foundation] predated his diagnosis. A true friend; I wish him peace."
People Everywhere Are Celebrating "Shark Week" By Eating Sharks Into Extinction
How are people celebrating Shark Week . . . aside from actually watching shark-related programming on the Discovery Channel? Well, apparently a lot of people are participating by EATING SHARKS INTO EXTINCTION.
Or so says the Internet.
Restaurants are trying to sell as much shark meat as possible, and people are eating it like crazy. A shark conservation expert says this is NOT good. Quote, "It's opportunistic. [Restaurants] are using the celebrity of 'sharkism' to sell more tacos than they normally would."
The most commonly-eaten shark in the U.S. is the Shortfin Mako, a species that's listed as "Vulnerable." That's a step above "Endangered" . . . and puts them on par with polar bears.
A sarcastic shark activist jokes, quote, "But you wouldn't want to eat polar bear tacos."
New In Theaters Today
1. "The Expendables 3"(PG-13)
Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and Arnold Schwarzeneggerare all back from the last movie. And there are a TON of new additions.
Wesley Snipes plays a founding member of the team that they have to bust out of prison . . . which is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that Snipes couldn't participate in the first two movies, because he was locked up for his tax troubles.
Antonio Banderas adds comic relief as a commando who's always desperately wanted to join the team. And Mel Gibson is Stallone's old partner . . . he cofounded the Expendables, but turned bad and became an arms dealer with a vendetta against him.
In order to deal with the new threat, Stallone recruits some young, fresh blood . . . including Kellan Lutz, MMA badass Ronda Rousey, and boxer Victor Ortiz.
And finally there's Kelsey Grammer as an old friend of Stallone's who helps recruit the new members . . . and Harrison Ford as the CIA handler behind their assignments.
Unfortunately Chuck Norris doesn't show up again, and Bruce Willis punked out when it came time to film . . . but it sounds like they added more than enough muscle to over-compensate.
2. "Let's Be Cops"(R)
Damon Wayans Jr. and Jake Johnson from "The New Girl" dress up as police officers for a costume party . . . and are so convincing, they're mistaken for REAL cops by everyone in the neighborhood . . .
Including some corrupt cops and mobsters run by Andy Garcia. The rest of the cast includes Nina Dobrev from the "Vampire Diaries", "The Daily Show's"Rob Riggle, and Keegan-Michael Key from Comedy Central's "Key & Peele".
3. "The Giver"(PG-13)
Brenton Thwaites lives in a "perfect" society where people can't see color or feel the full range of human emotions, because of an injection they get every morning.
Jeff Bridges is the Giver, the one man who has the full memory of all of humanity's experiences. And when Brenton is chosen to become the next "Receiver of Memory", he discovers love and starts skipping his daily injections.
Alexander Skarsgard and Katie Holmes play his parents . . . Israeli minx Odeya Rush is his love interest . . . and Meryl Streep is the villain, the Chief Elder of the community. Taylor Swift is also in it. She has a small role in it as The Giver's daughter.
Burger King Chicken Fries Are Back . . . And Scott Disick Spent More Than $200 on Them in One Shot
Unless you've been living under a rock . . . or, you know, you're one of those people who's into healthy food . . . then you probably know that Burger King brought back their CHICKEN FRIES this week.
And it would appear that nobody is happier about this than "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star SCOTT DISICK.
He ran out to BK and scooped up 45 9-piece orders . . . which cost him $205.28. And of course he posted a picture of the receipt, along with the caption, "Thank the Lord #ChickenFriesareBack"
Justin Bieber Was Ordered to Take Anger Management
As expected, JUSTIN BIEBER reached a deal in his Miami DUI case that'll keep him out of jail. And the best news is that he has to take a 12-hour ANGER MANAGEMENT course. Then again, is 12 hours really gonna fix this kid's attitude?
Justin also has to meet people who've been affected by drunk drivers, make a $50,000 charitable donation and pay fines.
Robin Williams' Daughter Quit Instagram and Twitter After Trolls Harassed Her About Her Father's Death
ROBIN WILLIAMS' 25-year-old daughter ZELDA quit Twitter and Instagram after IDIOTS started trolling her by posting rude messages about her dad. They also posted a picture that supposedly showed her father's corpse at the coroner's office. But it wasn't really Robin . . . just a man who looked like him.
Zelda asked her followers to report a couple accounts that were harassing her. Then she Tweeted, quote, "I'm sorry. I should've risen above. Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye."
Later, she posted the following announcement on Instagram . . . quote, "I will be leaving this account for a [bit] while I heal and decide if I'll be deleting it or not. Mining our accounts for photos of dad, or judging me on the number of them is cruel and unnecessary."
And finally, she also posted a statement on Tumblr which included this quote, "To those he touched who are sending kind words, know that one of his favorite things in the world was to make you all laugh. As for those who are sending negativity, know that some small, giggling part of him is sending a flock of pigeons to your house to poop on your car. Right after you've had it washed."
Ben Affleck May Have Injured Himself Being Batman
Being Batman isn't easy. Especially being an "older" Batman like BEN AFFLECK. The Star claims Ben Affleck suffered a shoulder strain while on the set of ''Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice''.
A source tells the tabloid: "It was hurting him pretty bad. He's putting his all into this role and it's pretty physically demanding. The trips to the gym are two, sometimes three times a day and on set he's like a machine. This injury was his first and most painful while shooting.
The source claims Ben is still on the set acting but he's been put on temporary hold from doing any stunts for a few days until the doctor gives him the OK to start again.
Gwyneth Paltrow Might Be Dating One of the Creators of "Glee"
After CONSCIOUSLY UNCOUPLING from CHRIS MARTIN earlier this year, GWYNETH PALTROW may be consciously COUPLING again. "Us Weekly" claims she's dating BRAD FALCHUK, one of the creators of "Glee".
Gwyneth has appeared in five episodes of "Glee", starting back in 2010. So obviously people are going to wonder if Gwyneth was coupling with him ON THE SIDE before she and Chris broke up.
But a "source" says, quote, "things started off professionally" . . . and the relationship evolved from there.
Sam Smith Says He is NOT Doing the Next Bond Theme
Several gossip sites have been reporting that singer SAM SMITH has been tapped to record the next James Bond theme. I was actual pretty excited about it. I think he'd do a great job. Sadly, he has no clue where this rumor came from and says it's absolutely NOT true.
Sam tells nme.com, "No, I have no idea what that was about and I know as much as you do. You probably know more than me; I didn't even read the article. I think it's something everyone would love to do, but yeah, it was all news to me. I won't say any more on it. My favorite Bond theme was Jack White and Alicia Keys.''
Christina Aguilera May Pose For "Playboy"

Details Were Released On Robin Williams' Death…Was It Too Much?
Many people are angered by the amount of detail released by the Marin County sheriff's office in their news conference Tuesday about ROBIN WILLIAMS. No detail seemed to be spared. I was uncomfortable listening to it so I've opted not to include the details in my Dirt today.
The social media backlash has been heated following the outpouring of support for Williams.
Police did say that Robin's wife Susan had left the house Monday morning to run some errands, and didn't return until his body had already been found. She was the last person to see him alive, at about 10:30 the night before.
RadarOnline.com would like you to believe Robin was having, quote, "serious money troubles" at the time of his death. But we don't know if that's true.
Sarah Michelle Gellar Says Robin Williams Was Like a Father to Her
Sarah Michelle Gellar, who starred with Robin Williams in 'The Crazy Ones', tells People that he was like a father.
She says, "My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams. To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the father I had always dreamed of having. There are not enough adjectives to describe the light he was, to anyone that ever had the pleasure to meet him. I will miss him everyday, but I know the memory of him will live on. And to his family, I thank them for letting us know him and seeing the joy they brought him. Us crazy ones love you."
Justin Bieber Heading To Anger Management Classes??
If you've been longing for a gentler, more peaceful JUSTIN BIEBER, your prayers may be answered soon.
According to two people directly involved with his case, Justin will plead guilty to lesser charges in his January arrest in South Florida after what police initially described as an illegal street drag race.
The two people told the Associated Press Tuesday that the 20-year-old pop star would plead guilty to misdemeanor careless driving and resisting arrest without violence charges. Bieber also will agree to take an anger management course and make a charitable donation.
The people insisted on anonymity because they were not authorized to comment publicly before today's court hearing. The Miami Herald first reported the plea deal.
The Biebs was arrested January 23rd in Miami Beach and was originally charged with driving under the influence, but breath tests found Bieber's blood alcohol level below the limit for underage drivers.
Katy Perry Needs Pink, White and Purple Flowers in Her Dressing Room
The Daily Mirror and Contact Music claim KATY PERRY's backstage rider calls for her dressing rooms to be filled with pink, white and purple flowers, organic food, Pinot Grigio and fruit and vegetables.
A source tells the sites: ''It's crazy. Katy always seems so down-to-earth when you see her on TV so we didn't expect her to have so many diva demands. We've also been told that staff mustn't speak to her, especially to ask for a photo or an autograph, because it angers her before the show.''
Will Beyonce and Jay Z Perform at Brad & Angelina's Wedding?
We still don't even have a date for the wedding of BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE but sources are already speculating who will be there.

He told them it would make their big day extra special to have them both do a number. They were flattered and said they'd do their best to fit it into their hectic schedule, depending on the date.''
The Rock's Mother and Cousin Were Hit Head-On By a Drunk Driver . . . But They're Going to Be OK
DWAYNE "THE ROCK" JOHNSON had a scare last week when his mother and cousin were hit head-on by a drunk driver. The Rock posted a picture of the crash, and it looks like it was pretty serious. But it sounds like everyone's going to be OK.
In the caption, he said, quote, "My mom & cousin were struck head on by a drunk driver this week - they lived. First reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them.
"But then you realize the most important thing is my family lived thru this and we can hug each other that much tighter these days. Hug your own family tighter today and be grateful you can tell them you love them."
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Made $65 million This Weekend

Did Michael Jackson Pee All Over His Neverland House and Threaten to Throw Poop at the Help?
Three women who worked as maids at the Neverland Ranch told the "New York Post" that MICHAEL JACKSON was a PIG.
They claim that if Michael was in the house and had to pee, he'd just unzip his pants and go . . . wherever he was. He wouldn't even bother trying to make it to the bathroom.
Also, he would track animal poop from the mini-zoo into the house . . . and would threaten to THROW POOP AT THE HELP.
Michael's bedroom was littered with, quote, "half-eaten chicken, potato chips, empty wine and whiskey bottles." And it was so bad the place was infested with BEDBUGS.
Shark Week is Finally Here!
Discovery Channel's 27th annual Shark Week kicked-off last night with Air Jaws: Fins of Fury, the first of 13 new shows airing through Aug. 16, when it all wraps up with Sharksanity (10 p.m.).
Shark Week is a big hit with viewers, but is it getting too sensational? George Burgess, director of the Florida Program for Shark Research in Gainesville, tells USA TODAY that the Shark Week frenzy is a double-edged sword. "I'm kind of disappointed, and I think most researchers are, too," Burgess said. "It obviously is a big draw, but I'm afraid that the programs have gone more to entertainment and less to documentary over the years."

KJ's Kinda Nerdy News: "Batman v. Superman" Director Zack Snyder Talks Up Aquaman . . . Does That Mean He's Going to Be in the Movie?
It hasn't been confirmed yet, but a lot of people think JASON MOMOA is playing Aquaman in "Superman v. Batman". The movie is currently filming in Detroit, and on Friday, the guys on a local radio show were DISSING Aquaman.
I've never been a big fan of Aquaman but apparently "Superman v. Batman" director ZACK SNYDER actually felt the need to defend his honor. He wouldn't admit that Aquaman is in the movie, but here's what he had to say . . .
"Aquaman has some cool abilities that I think people are like, 'Oh what does he talk to animals, because that seems like what he does, or fish or whatever?'
"The cool thing is, with Aquaman his trident (people don't realize this) could cut the flesh of Superman, if they came in contact. That's a thing that's in the canon. He's super strong. Because of course he can exist at these super deep depths.
"So when he comes up here he's crazy strong. Not to say he's in my movie, or anything like that . . . He has the potential to be badass. That's all I'm saying."
Is Bill Nye the Science Guy Having a Gay Affair With a Guy from "Star Trek"?
As far as we know, BILL NYE "The Science Guy" is not gay. But he now finds himself caught up in a gay rumor with actor ROBERT PICARDO, who played the holographic doctor on "Star Trek: Voyager".
Picardo is going through a nasty divorce, and his wife of almost 20 years hired a private investigator to tail him. And she's been telling people that the P.I. said the two men once spent three hours in Nye's bedroom.
She thinks that means her husband was having an affair with Nye.
Picardo denied it in court documents, saying, quote, "I'd made it to 60 without having sex with a man and a 'walk on the wild side' at this age seemed unlikely to anyone who knows me."
But he did admit that he and Nye are longtime friends.
Nye married a woman in 2006, but booted her seven weeks later. She then went back to the house and poured two bottles of weed killer over his garden.
Roseanne Says George Clooney Did Leave a Picture of His Penis on the Fridge on the Set of Her Show
There's been a rumor for years that when GEORGE CLOONEY was a cast member on "Roseanne" during its early years, he once put a photograph of his MANHOOD on the Conner Family refrigerator, so everyone would see it the next day.
And yesterday on "The Talk", ROSEANNE said it's TRUE. She said he even positioned Groucho Marx glasses over his junk, so that his penis was the NOSE.
Sadly, no one knows where that picture is today. Roseanne said, quote, "About the second day it disappeared . . . I thought it would surface by now. Maybe they don't know it was George Clooney."
Something Is Wrong with Kristin Chenoweth, But She Doesn't Think She's Dying
If you've been following KRISTIN CHENOWETH'S Twitter feed, chances are you're a little concerned about her . . . because she's been asking for prayers regarding a scary-sounding medical condition.
A few days ago, she Tweeted, quote, "Back in L.A. Unable to move. Numbness and tingling in arm. Going to [the] doctor tomorrow. Ah, anyone who prays please do!"
She elaborated a little more yesterday . . . adding, quote, "Waiting on MRI results. No matter what I will be OK. Thanks [everyone] for praying and sending good vibes. #ThinkingPositive."
A few hours later, she seemed a little more upbeat about her prognosis . . . Tweeting, quote, "Thanks for all the good vibes everyone. Stupid ole neck flares up again. Thanks for the 'neck' support ! :)"
Kristin has had her share of medical issues. Over the past decade, she's been diagnosed with asthma and an inner ear disorder . . . and in 2012, she was hit in the head with some lighting equipment on the set of "The Good Wife", leaving her with a skull fracture, "a rib issue and a hip issue."
NBC Might Be Fined for FCC Complaints About Their Miley Cyrus Concert Special
The FCC is reportedly investigating the MILEY CYRUS concert special that NBC aired last month, to determine if it violated any of their broadcasting rules.
Supposedly, they were hit with a "slew" of complaints from viewers about "stripper costumes" and other over-the-line sexual content.
None of the actual complaints have hit the web . . . but TMZ has seen some of them, where people were upset about, quote, "stripper costumes and Miley rolling around in a bed with half-naked men and women."
Plus, the thing that got people the MOST riled up was Miley grinding up against a costumed Abe Lincoln.
The special ended up tanking . . . so if NBC was looking to push the envelope for ratings, that didn't work out well. That said, who in their right mind would tune in to watch a Miley concert, and NOT expect questionable content?
KJ's Kinda Nerdy News: Alleged Plot Details from "Batman v. Superman"
Some supposed plot details from the upcoming "Superman v. Batman: Dawn of Justice" were revealed yesterday. We don't know if they're true, but we should note that some people might consider them SPOILERS so don't read anything further if you don't want to be spoiled.
The website Bad Ass Digest says that in the movie's timeline, Batman has been around for about 30 years, so he's in his 50s. But he's still an URBAN LEGEND, and despite years of crimefighting, nobody has even taken his picture.
And his Batcave includes a memorial centered around a TATTERED ROBIN COSTUME.
Sandra Bullock Is the Highest Paid Actress in Hollywood
SANDRA BULLOCK is #1 on Forbes.com's annual list of "The Highest Paid Actresses in Hollywood." She reportedly raked in $51 million over the past 12 months . . . thanks in large part to her take from the movie "Gravity".

The Stars of "The Big Bang Theory" Are Now Insanely Rich
The three main cast members of "The Big Bang Theory" have ended their hold-out . . . after agreeing to new deals that'll make them INSANELY RICH.
JIM PARSONS, JOHNNY GALECKI and KALEY CUOCO signed three-year contracts, which will pay them $1 million per episode EACH. That triples their previous salaries, which were in the $325,000 to $350,000 range.
Seasons eight through 10 are expected to include a total of 72 episodes, which means they'll rake in $72 million over the next three years. But that's not all.
They're also getting a cut of the show's profits, which could make their new deals worth anywhere from $90 to $100 million apiece.
It's hard to imagine a show can stay afloat while cutting paychecks like these, but Deadline.com says that with all the advertising and syndication, it's still expected to generate $1 BILLION in profits.
SIMON HELBERG and KUNAL NAYYAR are the only two cast members who still don't have a deal. But that's expected to happen any minute now, and the cast is scheduled for a table read tomorrow.
Taylor Swift Visited a 6-Year-Old Cancer Patient . . . And She Gave a Random Girl in Central Park $90 for Posing with Her
TAYLOR SWIFT visited a 6-year-old cancer patient named Jordan Lee Nickerson, and he may be the most adorable kid ever. When she told him she was there to sing for him he said, "Just do it."
She asked what song he'd like to hear and he told HER to pick her favorite. She finally settled on "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and he said, "Yes, THAT song!"
In other Taylor Swift news: She gave a random girl $90 for posing with her in a gazebo in Central Park. The girl Tweeted, "In New York City celebrating my friend's birthday, we went for a boat ride and we found Taylor Swift."
Taylor was with a reporter from "Rolling Stone" at the time so it sounds like they were setting it up as a photo for an upcoming story. This happened a couple of weeks ago but everybody's talking about it now.
Gwyneth Paltrow Pays $5,240 for a Procedure That Feels Like Having Your Face Smacked with an Electrified Rubber Band
Would you pay $5,240 to have someone smack your face with an electrified rubber band? You would if you were GWYNETH PALTROW.
Gwyneth tells "Hello!" magazine that she's never had plastic surgery, but she keeps her skin looking great with a painful facial procedure called Thermage laser treatment, which is also known as FACE-IRONING.
She explains, quote, "It's non-invasive but it's quite painful, like having your face smacked with a rubber band that has an electric shock in it. But it works." She says it boosts collagen levels in the skin's lower layers, creating a tightening effect to the top layer.
It seems like someone should pay YOU to let them do that, but Gwyneth actually opens up HER checkbook for this. A half-face treatment costs around $3,900, while a full-face of electrified rubber band-smacking will run you a hefty $5,240.
Ashley Olsen is Dating a 47-Year-Old Guy
ASHLEY OLSEN is taking a page out of her sister's book and dating a guy who's old enough to be her dad. She's dating BENNETT MILLER, who directed "Capote" and "Moneyball", as well as the upcoming movie "Foxcatcher".
He's 47 . . . she's 28.
Bennett is actually two years older than MARY-KATE'S 45-year-old fiancé, Olivier Sarkozy.
Is Jennifer Lawrence's Ex Rebounding with Kristen Stewart?
We still don't have it officially, but multiple sources are reporting that JENNIFER LAWRENCE and NICHOLAS HOULT have broken up.
The two met on the set of 2011's "X-Men: First Class" and have been together ever since, not counting a brief breakup last year.
Hoult is about to start filming a sci-fi flick with KRISTEN STEWART called "Equals", and the two of them were spotted in Tokyo the other day getting sushi . . . so obviously the rumors are starting to bubble up.
