Adam Sandler and "Twilight" Lead the Razzie Nominees
Oscar nominees will be announced tomorrow morning. Which means that today, we get the RAZZIE nominees. The Golden Raspberry Awards celebrate the WORST in cinema.
--The final "Twilight" flick, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2", leads the pack with 11 nominations . . . in 10 CATEGORIES.
--ADAM SANDLER also cleaned up with EIGHT nods for "That's My Boy". "Battleship" rounds out the top three with SEVEN nominations.
--Last year, Sandler set a record with 11 nominations for three crappy movies: "Jack and Jill", "Just Go With It" and "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star".
--And "Jack and Jill" went on to sweep EVERY CATEGORY.
--He might not have a banner year this time around, though, since this is the Razzies' last opportunity to crap on "Twilight".
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Bought an $11 Million Mansion
KIM KARDASHIAN and KANYE WEST bought an $11 million mansion in Bel Air.
--It's 9,000 square feet and has a gym, movie theater, hair and makeup salon, bowling alley, basketball court and indoor and outdoor pools.
Will Lance Armstrong Admit to Oprah that He Was Doping?
LANCE ARMSTRONG has agreed to give his first interview since he was stripped of all his Tour de France titles for allegedly using performance-enhancing drugs. And no big surprise . . . he'll give it to OPRAH.
--The 90-minute interview will air next Thursday night, January 17th, at 9:00 P.M on OWN.
--There's been some talk over the last few days that Lance is ready to ADMIT he was doping. And the gossip site Showbiz411 says that's exactly what he'll do. He'll also beg for mercy . . . and a reversal of his lifetime ban from cycling.
--But this won't help: "60 Minutes" says that in 2004, one of Lance's reps offered a $250,000 "donation" to the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.
--They're the ones whose investigation of Lance led to him losing his titles, not to mention MILLIONS in endorsements.
--The head of the USADA says, quote, "It was a clear conflict of interest. We had no hesitation in rejecting that offer."
The Woman Who's Writing the "50 Shades of Grey" Script Says She's Going for an NC-17
Those "50 Shades of Grey" books are definitely aimed at women. But the movies might have something for the guys, too.
--Because KELLY MARCEL . . . the woman who's writing the script for the first installment . . . is aiming for an NC-17 rating. She says, quote, "It’s going to be raunchy. We are 100% going there."
--Not every sex scene can be represented in a 90-minute movie. Marcel says, quote, "We did go through and decide which are our favorites and which are not. Most of them are in there, but I can’t say more than that."
If One Direction Doesn't Remain Together for Three More Years, the Whole Group Loses Millions
ONE DIRECTION has agreed to a massive new record deal, which requires them to make three new albums over the next three years. It also binds them to each other.
--A so-called "source" tells Britain's "Sun" tabloid that if just ONE member drops out, the whole group will lose out on A TON OF MONEY.
--Supposedly, the contract was designed so that the five guys will each get a big payout three years from now . . . but ONLY if the group is still intact at that point.
--There are no specifics . . . so there's no word how much we're talking about . . . but the source emphasizes that it's not just a few bucks, it's, quote, "millions."
