Drake Is Mad Because "Rolling Stone" Bumped Him from the Cover . . . After Philip Seymour Hoffman Died

DRAKE went on Twitter this week, to pout about how "Rolling Stone" had promised him the cover of this week's issue . . . but that they bounced him after PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN'S death.

He Tweeted, quote, "They took my cover from me [at the] last minute and ran the issue.  I'm disgusted with that.  R.I.P. to Philip Seymour Hoffman.  All respect due.  But the press is evil.  I'm done doing interviews for magazines.

"I just want to give my music to the people.  That's the only way my message gets across accurately."

Drake was also upset with the magazine for quoting him poking fun at KANYE WEST'S lyrics on his latest album.  He Tweeted, quote, "I never commented on 'Yeezus' for my interview portion of 'Rolling Stone'."

It's unclear what he means by the "interview portion" . . . but maybe he's saying that he was having a little fun at Kanye's expense OFF THE RECORD.  Drake has since deleted the Tweets.

For what it's worth, "Rolling Stone" says they're always switching up their cover plans for breaking news.  And they're sticking to their reporting on Drake's quotes.

E! Is Keeping The Kardashians But Maybe Not Bruce Jenner

The KARDASHIAN family has reportedly reached a new extension with E!, which will keep them on TV for years to come.  Supposedly, it's worth more than $40 MILLION.

That would mean "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" isn't going anywhere . . . however, there are conflicting reports about BRUCE JENNER'S status.  He told E! that he's not leaving the show, but TMZ says he is.

Ellen Will Do Her Show LIVE the Day After the Oscars

ELLEN DEGENERES is hosting the Oscars on Sunday, March 1st and has announced that her talk show will be LIVE the day after.

Chances are she'll have a bunch of Oscar winners on.  It'll be interesting to see how awake she is since the Oscars tend to run quite late and are followed by epic after parties.

New Movies This Weekend

1.  "Robocop"  (PG-13)

Joel KinnaMan from AMC's "The Killing" is your Robocop for this remake.  He plays Alex Murphy, a cop who's fatally wounded and brought back to life as a cyborg.
