"The Voice" Adds Chris Martin for a New Format Change

"The Voice" is tweaking its format a little and adding a new mentor to the mix.  And they made the announcement on SnapChat of all things.

COLDPLAY singer CHRIS MARTIN is joining the show for three episodes as a universal advisor that all four coaches can tap into.

They're also getting rid of the Knockout Round.  The knockouts will be replaced with a new round where contestants will take turns performing the same song.  It has the imaginative title of "Battles: Round Two."

Look for Chris to show up on the March 31st episode.  He'll be back the following night, and then again for the April 7th episode.

Justin Bieber Claims He Failed His Sobriety Test Because He Had a Messed Up Foot

JUSTIN BIEBER has a FANTASTIC excuse for being unable to walk in a straight line following his DUI arrest in January:  His foot was messed up.

According to newly released court documents, Justin told the cops that he was unstable during his sobriety test, because he had a hairline fracture in his right foot from a skateboarding accident three months earlier.

The documents also say Justin was a punk . . . once again . . . while talking to the arresting officer.  Justin told him, quote, "I'm 19 years old.  I'm just out having a good time."

The cop replied that HE wasn't driving around in a Lambo at that age . . . to which Justin responded, quote, "Yeah, well, I bet you didn't have millions of dollars in your bank account either."

(Justin tested positive for marijuana and Xanax, but his blood alcohol level was virtually ZERO.)

Miley Cyrus' Tour Bus Caught on Fire But She Wasn't on It

MILEY CYRUS' tour bus went up in flames the night before last.

Miley's sister Noah posted a series of videos on Instagram with the caption "Tour bus down!" She later confirmed on Twitter that no one was injured.

Miley was traveling to New Orleans, where she is scheduled to play a show tonight. TMZ said Miley was not on the bus at the time but Miley's mom and sister we're. The fire was caused by a tire that exploded, but thankfully, they both escaped unharmed. No one else on Miley's crew was injured.

There was one casualty however -- the stuffed bunny they got at Cracker Barrel earlier in the day. Noah Instagrammed the bunny photo after the accident.

There May Be a Kris Jenner Sex Tape

RADAR Online claims KRIS JENNER is being extorted by a man, who claims he has a sex tape of hers.

A source tells the site, ''The man has been demanding money from Kris. If he’s not paid, he claims, he’ll release the tape. He called Kris more than one hundred times in the last seven days, from more than 100 different phone numbers - he uses scrambled cell numbers.

At first she thought it was a joke, because she knew it couldn’t be real - obviously she would never allow herself to be taped like that! Initially, she just ignored it.''

So it sounds like if there is a video, whoever filmed it did NOT have permission from Kris.

The New "Star Wars" Movie Will Take Place 30 Years After "Return of the Jedi" . . . and the Only Confirmed Cast Member Is R2-D2

In a recent meeting with shareholders, Disney shed some light on the upcoming, seventh "Star Wars" movie.  Here's what we now know:

The movie will be set 30 years after "Return of the Jedi" . . . and they will begin filming it in London in May.  As we'd heard, it'll hit theaters in December of 2015.

They didn't say anything about the casting rumors that are out there, including the ones claiming ADAM DRIVER from "Girls" will play the main bad guy, and that "12 Years a Slave" star LUPITA NYONG'O is in talks for a role.

They did say that, for now, the only confirmed cast member is R2-D2.  StarWars.com reports that the movie will star, quote, "a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces."

It seems likely that HARRISON FORD, CARRIE FISHER and MARK HAMILL will return in some capacity.  And that would make sense age-wise, because it's also been just over 30 years since "Return of the Jedi" came out.
