Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Are Separating
GWYNETH PALTROW and CHRIS MARTIN are separating after 10 years of marriage. They have two children: A 9-year-old daughter named Apple and a 7-year-old son named Moses.
Gwyneth posted a statement on her website, GOOP.com. She said, quote, "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate . . .
"We have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been."
The statement was titled "Conscious Uncoupling". (???)
"Us Weekly" says the whole family went to the Bahamas to escape a possible media frenzy.
Is Kanye West Buying Kim Kardashian Burger King Franchises as a Wedding Gift?
The not-always-reliable "Star" tabloid says that KANYE WEST has picked out a wedding gift for KIM KARDASHIAN: Burger King. (???)
He's supposedly buying her 10 Burger King franchises in England, Italy and France. Kanye owns several Fatburger restaurants in Chicago, and a so-called "source" says, quote, "That's where he sees her future career, away from reality TV."
Diddy Is Using the Name "Puff Daddy" Again, But He Says His Name Isn't Changing
It's been 15 years since DIDDY has used the name "Puff Daddy," but apparently, he's going back to it . . . at least, in some capacity.
In a preview for Diddy's upcoming "Big Homie" video, he credits himself as "Puff Daddy." Naturally, that caused everyone to think that he was changing his name again. But that isn't the case. Or it is? I don't know, it's very confusing.
Diddy Tweeted, quote, "For the record, I did not change my name. I always have been and always will be PUFF DADDY! :) Be cool. Man, LOL." (???) He added, quote, "Diddy or Daddy???"
"Big Homie" is the first single off the new Diddy (or Daddy) album. It's called "MMM", and it'll be out sometime this year.
Kathy Griffin is Getting Death Threats for Calling Demi Lovato the "Biggest Douche" She's Ever Met
KATHY GRIFFIN was answering fans' questions on Twitter, when someone asked her who's the, quote, "biggest douche celebrity" she's met.
Kathy said it was "probably" DEMI LOVATO . . . and added, quote, "Plus, she should calm the [eff] down 'bout Lady Gaga gettin' barfed on." Last week, Demi criticized Lady Gaga's vomit stunt, saying that it glamorized eating disorders.
Well, that incensed Demi's fan army, a.k.a. the "Lovatics." Some even sent Kathy DEATH THREATS, which she re-Tweeted. There were the standard, "You deserve to get cancer . . . or AIDS . . . or raped" ones.
There were also the typical "shut the [eff] up or we will kill you" ones . . . and a few that told her to kill herself, including one polite person who asked Kathy to "please" slit her throat.
Kathy liked this one, which may have been messed up by autocorrect: Quote, "I really hope you commit 'sue of side' tonight." And there's this gem: Quote, "Kathy, I'm going to stick you in the oven and kill you probably on broil." (???)
Kathy's initial Tweet about Demi seems to be gone from her feed. She insists that she didn't delete it, so it's unclear what happened.
By the way, Demi doesn't seem to like Kathy either. She posted a photo of her sticking out her tongue, and pointing her finger at Kathy in the background, with the caption: "Only a 'douche' to people I can't stand." She deleted it shortly afterward.
Late last night, she told her fans to COOL IT with the death threats. She Tweeted, quote, "I love you guys so much but y'all gotta chill with sending hate towards other people. Regardless of what they say or do."
She also sent this to Kathy: "No one should ever wish those things upon ANYONE. I apologize on others behalf. I do NOT approve of that at all. Sorry for that."
Will the Spice Girls Reunite for a Tour with the Backstreet Boys?
If the late '90s were your thing, this is for you: Britain's "Sun" tabloid claims the SPICE GIRLS are in talks to reunite, to do a tour with the BACKSTREET BOYS.
But this rumor has been around for a while now. The "Sun" claims BRIAN LITTRELL told them, quote, "We are actually in early talks about maybe doing a world tour together with the Spice Girls."
However, Brian's quote appears to be from last fall. And at that time, EMMA BUNTON denied that it was happening.
Either way, VICTORIA BECKHAM . . . "Posh Spice" . . . is NOT expected back. Earlier this year, she told "Vanity Fair", quote, "I won't ever do it again."
