Whitney Houston's Daughter Nearly Drowned in a Bathtub

WHITNEY HOUSTON'S 21-year-old daughter BOBBI KRISTINA was hospitalized on Saturday, after she lost consciousness and nearly drowned in a bathtub . . . just like her mother did almost three years ago to the day.

The police got a search warrant, but didn't see any signs of drug or alcohol abuse.  So far it's unclear what caused her to lose consciousness.

If she WAS clean, it raises questions about her mental state.  Because an accidental drowning in a bathtub seems like a crazt coincidence.  Here's what we know . . .

According to the police, Bobbi Kristina's husband Nick found her face-down in a bathtub on Saturday at their home in Roswell, Georgia.  She was unresponsive, so he started CPR.  Then cops took over when they got there.

Eventually she was revived and rushed to the hospital, but there are conflicting reports about her condition.  A source close to the family says she's stable, but an NBC affiliate in Atlanta says the police confirmed that she was put in a medically induced coma.

"Entertainment Tonight" reported that she'd been placed on a ventilator . . . E! says she WASN'T placed in a coma . . . and TMZ claims she has "significantly diminished" brain function.

A nurse allegedly told MediaTakeOut.com, quote, "She lost oxygen to her brain for too long . . . she's not going to be able to recover."

Her dad BOBBY BROWN released a statement, but he only confirmed the hospitalization, and wouldn't comment further.  He's supposedly with her.

For what it's worth, the police were called to Bobbi Kristina's home the previous weekend about a fight, but no one was home when they arrived.

And on social media, her marriage seemed okay, and she seemed positive in the week leading up to the incident.  She called Nick "her everything," and talked about igniting her career in the studio.

That said, she did re-Tweet this message:  Quote, "Getting your [crap] together is one thing, keeping it together is another."  And also said, quote, "Pisces have a hard time accepting reality.  Once they do realize it, it hits them like a ton of bricks."

And just last week, Bobbi Kristina Tweeted, quote, "Miss you, Mommy :')  So much.  Loving you more every sec."

Whitney died in a hotel bathtub on February 11th, 2012.  She had cocaine, marijuana, Xanax, Benadryl, and other medication in her system at the time.

"People" Says Bruce Jenner Is Indeed Becoming a Woman, and Filming the Transition for a Reality Show

It's still not official, but it maybe became a little MORE official on Friday . . . when "People" magazine reported that BRUCE JENNER is indeed becoming a woman, and filming the transformation for a reality show.

A so-called "source" says, quote, "[The show] will air when he is ready to be open about his transition.  But he's acting more and more confident and seems very happy."

The reason Bruce didn't just come right out with this at the beginning was because of his family . . . quote, "Instead of completely shocking everyone, his changes have been subtle, and his family has had the chance to slowly get used to his new looks and life."

And a source says everybody IS on board . . . quote, "The number one thing is they all support Bruce . . . and anything that says the opposite just isn't true."

Still no OFFICIAL word from Bruce or anyone else in the family.

"American Sniper" Set a Super Bowl Weekend Record

"American Sniper" set a Super Bowl weekend record and topped the box office for a third straight week with $31.9 million.  The previous best was "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour", which made $31.1 million during Super Bowl weekend in 2008.

As for the new releases, "Project Almanac" made $8.5 million in 3rd place . . . KEVIN COSTNER's child custody drama "Black or White" was in 4th with $6.5 million . . . and the suspense thriller "The Loft" tanked, earning just $2.9 million in 10th place.

Here are this week's Top 5 movies:

1.  "American Sniper", $31.9 million.  Up to $249 million in its 6th week.

2.  "Paddington", $8.51 million.  Up to $50.5 million in its 3rd week.

3.  NEW:  "Project Almanac", $8.5 million.

4.  NEW:  "Black or White", $6.5 million.

5.  "The Boy Next Door", $6.1 million.  Up to $24.7 million in its 2nd week.

Val Kilmer Denies He Was Rushed to the Hospital for a Throat Tumor

There were reports that VAL KILMER was rushed to the hospital after suffering bleeding from his mouth, and ended up having surgery for a THROAT TUMOR.

Kilmer posted a message on Facebook saying he didn't have surgery . . . or even a tumor.  But his rep clarified that he was being tested for a POSSIBLE tumor.

Then Val posted a follow-up message saying, quote, "Again, no tumor, no surgery.  We are waiting for X-ray results and will stay close to my doctors advising, my family and Christian Science practitioner when all the facts are in.  Then I'll do what's best and be back at it sooner than you can shake a gossip column at an out of work actor."

Will Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch Become a Camp for Victims of Child Molestation?

It's hard to believe this would actually happen, but apparently, there's a rich businessman who's willing to spend $40 million to turn MICHAEL JACKSON's Neverland Ranch into a camp for victims of child molestation.  A source says, quote, "His goal is for the place to be used to help children in a serene setting recover from the trauma of sex abuse.

"The plan is to have children come there for treatment, and they will also hire trained therapists who would help the victims through the use of equine-assisted therapy . . .

"Which works to improve the kids' self-esteem, and it helps them to become more outgoing."

A hedge fund called Colony Capital actually has control of the ranch, and thinks it might be able to sell it for up to $75 million.

A rep for Michael's estate says, quote, "We are frustrated, bitterly disappointed and saddened that it has come to this.  Sadly, Michael lost control of Neverland during his life as a result of advice from a former manager."

Melissa Rivers Has Sued the New York City Clinic That Allegedly Caused Her Mother's Death

This isn't the least bit unexpected:  JOAN RIVERS' daughter MELISSA has filed a lawsuit against Yorkville Endoscopy over the death of her mother.  Joan died in their care back in September.

Melissa says, quote, "The level of medical mismanagement, incompetency, disrespect and outrageous behavior is shocking and frankly, almost incomprehensible. Not only did my mother deserve better, every patient deserves better."

She's also suing Joan's personal doctor, Gwen Korovin, who wasn't even supposed to be there, but ended up performing a procedure on Joan anyway.  The lawsuit also claims she left during Joan's medical emergency to avoid getting caught.

It's not clear if Melissa is seeking a specific amount, but legal experts think she could walk away with MILLIONS.

Kim Kardashian Says Bruce Jenner Should "Tell His Story His Way"

It's pretty telling that nobody in the Kardashian clan will deny BRUCE JENNER is becoming a woman.  And in a new interviewKIM KARDASHIAN keeps her words just as ambiguous as her stepfather's gender.

She says, quote, "I will say that I think Bruce should tell his story his way . . . I think he'll share whenever the time is right.

"I think Bruce is very happy, the happiest I've ever seen him . . . He's our dad so we support him no matter what."

Emma Watson Will Play Belle in a Live-Action Version of "Beauty and the Beast"

"Harry Potter" star EMMA WATSON will play Belle in a live-action version of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast".

Emma posted the news on Facebook yesterday . . . quote, "I'm finally able to tell you . . . that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action 'Beauty and the Beast'

"It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'.

"My six year old self is on the ceiling . . . heart bursting.  Time to start some singing lessons.  I can't wait for you to see it."

The movie is being directed by Bill Condon . . . who did "Dreamgirls" and the last two "Twilight" movies.

Disney's animated "Beauty and the Beast" came out in 1991.  It earned $375 million worldwide and became the first animated film to be nominated for the Oscar for Best Picture.

Blink-182 Is a Mess . . . Tom DeLonge Claims He Didn't Quit, But the Other Two Members Are Not Happy with Him

The guys in BLINK-182 had an eventful day yesterday.  Now, we just have to figure out who IS and who ISN'T still in Blink-182.

It all started when the band released a statement saying that guitarist TOM DELONGE had left the band again . . . and that he was gone "indefinitely."  They said they were temporarily replacing him with Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio.

A few hours later, Tom posted a message on Instagram saying, quote, "To all the fans, I never quit the band.  I actually was on a phone call about a Blink-182 event for New York City at the time all these weird press releases started coming in.   Apparently, those releases were 'sanctioned' from the band.  Are we dysfunctional?  Yes.  But, Christ . . . #Awkward."

Then, late last night, the other band members MARK HOPPUS and TRAVIS BARKER told "Rolling Stone" that there was definitely a disconnect between them and Tom.

It's a long story, but it boils down to this:  They say Tom bailed on a scheduled studio session earlier this month . . . and they got an email from his manager saying that "he had no interest in recording . . . that he wants to do his other, non-musical stuff . . . and that he's out indefinitely."

It's unclear where this leaves the band.  Mark and Travis seem open to welcoming Tom back if he REALLY wants to do stuff . . . but they sound very skeptical that he'd do that, and so they want him to stop holding them back.

Someone Asked Rashida Jones About Her Tan, and She Had to Remind Them That She's "Ethnic"

At Sunday's SAG Awards, a red carpet reporter tried to compliment RASHIDA JONES on her "tan".  She said, quote, "You look like you've just come off like an island or something, you're very tan, very tropical."

Rashida responded by pointing out the obvious . . . quote, "I mean, you know, I'm ethnic."

It's not clear if the woman realized what a dumb statement that was, or if she remained oblivious, but she laughed and replied, quote, "It's just being ethnic.  That's what it is."

(Rashida is the daughter of  music legend QUINCY JONES and her mother is "Mod Squad" actress PEGGY LIPTON.)

Miley Cyrus Can't Spell Her Boyfriend's Last Name . . . And She Thinks Justin Bieber Stole Her Look

MILEY CYRUS can't spell her boyfriend's last name.  Then again, her boyfriend is PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER, so cut her some slack.

During an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America", Miley was asked if she could spell it, and at least she was honest.  She said, quote, "Not really . . . I can't tell you.  Apparently there's not a 'T' in it."

In another interview, Miley said she's been trying to grow her hair out again ever since she cut it.  In the meantime, she actually accused JUSTIN BIEBER of biting her style.

She says, quote, "I saw him the other day and I had to say, '[B-word] stole my look!'  I literally said it to him and he said, 'I'm growing my hair out.'  I said, 'Yeah, me, too.' It's not easy with bleach. It's harder than it looks."

Celebrity Divorces:

Celebrity Divorce #1:  PATRICK DEMPSEY's wife Jillian has filed for divorce after 15 years of marriage.  They have three kids . . . a 14-year-old daughter and 7-year-old twin sons.  Patrick and Jillian are both 49.

The gossip sites say this one's getting ugly, especially because there was no prenup, and he's worth about $40 million.

Celebrity Divorce #2:  MANDY MOORE and RYAN ADAMS are splitting after almost six years of marriage.

Mandy's rep issued a statement saying, quote, "It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and [they] are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time."  Mandy is 30 . . . Ryan is 40.

Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP Website Has a Chocolate Recipe To Help You Score on Valentine's Day

Do you want to make SURE that your Valentine's Day ends with a little MAGIC between the sheets?  Well, GWYNETH PALTROW's GOOP website has a chocolate recipe that should do the trick.

It's called SEX BARK, and the site calls it, quote, "a quick and potent chocolate recipe perfect for a sweet bite after a romantic dinner."

Ingredients include Ho Shou Wu, which is a "sex and beauty tonic" . . . Cacao nibs to "increase brain flow, boost metabolism, nourish your nervous system, battle fatigue, and spark libido" . . .

And something called SEX DUST, which is described as, quote, "an aphrodisiac warming potion [that] will send waves of blood to all the right places."

The website has links to all the ingredients, and sadly for us little people, it'll cost you $108 to make this chaos.  The Sex Dust alone is 60 bucks.

"American Sniper" Has Earned $200 Million to Go With Its Six Oscar Nominations

"American Sniper" dominated the box office once again, earning $64.4 million in its second week of wide release.  That brings it total domestic haul to just over $200 million . . . which is a nice complement to its six Oscar nominations.

The top new release this week was the JENNIFER LOPEZ thriller "The Boy Next Door", which debuted in 2nd place with $15 million.  The animated musical "Strange Magic" was in 7th place with $5.5 million . . . while JOHNNY DEPP's "Mortdecai" tanked, earning just $4.1 million in 9th place.

Julia Roberts Will Star in a Movie About "Batkid"

JULIA ROBERTS will star in a movie about "Batkid" . . . a.k.a. real-life cancer survivor MILES SCOTT.

You may remember back in 2013, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and thousands of people helped make his dream of being Batman for a day come true.  He was 5 at the time.  He's 6 now, and in remission.

Julia's movie will be based on a documentary called "Batkid Begins:  The Wish Heard Around the World".

Mike Epps Apologized for Tweeting a Picture of a Black Guy Watching White Slaves Pick Cotton

MIKE EPPS had to apologize over a picture he posted last week on Facebook and Instagram.  (You probably know Mike as "Black Doug" in the "Hangover" movies. He’s also an Indianapolis native.)

It showed three white men picking cotton while a black man stood over them with a whip . . . and an image of MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. appeared in the sky above them, smiling.  Epps captioned the picture, "I am so proud of you bro.  Lol!"

After the Internet exploded, Epps called TMZ and took down the photo.  He told them, quote, "I was just cracking a joke.  I'm a comedian, man.  I thought it was funny . . . I didn't mean no harm.  If I offended anybody, I apologize."

He said it started when he got the pic from, quote, "One of my little bad nephews."

Did Calvin Klein Photoshop Hair Onto Justin Bieber's Body?

TMZ claims that Calvin Klein Photoshopped HAIR onto JUSTIN BIEBER's body in his new underwear ads.

As "proof", they offered what's supposedly an unretouched photo from the shoot.  It shows Justin with nothing but a minor TREASURE TRAIL an inch or two below his belly button.

Then they compared it to one of the photos Calvin Klein released as part of the ad campaign . . . where the area is loaded up with MAN FUZZ.

But we're not calling shenanigans just yet.  Because Justin also took some shirtless photos for "V" magazine.  And in those, he DOES appear to have some growth in that area.

Miley Cyrus Was Robbed for the Third Time

MILEY CYRUS was robbed last month . . . for the THIRD TIME in about a year.  On December 16th, somebody broke into Miley's house and stole property belonging to both her and her brother . . . including Miley's bank card.

Police actually caught a guy, although he pleaded not guilty.  There's no word if they got any of the stolen items back.

Last June, two men broke into Miley's house and stole her Maserati, jewelry and other items.  And in November of 2013, somebody busted in and stole $100,000 worth of jewelry and purses.

There's a Guy Jennifer Aniston Thinks She Should Have Ended Up With . . . But He's Dead

Bad news for JUSTIN THEROUX:  There's a guy JENNIFER ANISTON dated years ago that she thinks she should have been with.  Good news (I guess?) for Justin Theroux:  That man is DEAD.

Jennifer didn't identify the guy, but she told the "New York Times", quote, "He was my first love . . . five years we were together.  He would have been the one.  But I was 25, and I was stupid."

The guy died of a brain tumor years after they broke up, but Jennifer thinks he's still looking out for her.  Quote, "He must have sent me Justin to make up for it all."

Jennifer also says in the interview that she's sick of constantly being linked with ANGELINA JOLIE.  Quote, "It's ridiculous . . . that the two names have to go into the same sentence and there has to be a compare-and-despair thing."

"Game of Thrones" Is Back on April 12th

HBO has announced that we are 93 days away from new episodes of "Game of Thrones".

Season Five will premiere on April 12th.  Two other shows, "Veep" and "Silicon Valley", are also returning on the 12th . . . for their fourth and second seasons respectively.

As we've heard, from January 23rd to the 29th, HBO will screen a full-length trailer for the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones", and the last two episodes of Season Four, in 150 IMAX screens across the U.S.

New In Theaters: "Taken 3", "Selma", and an Ethan Hawke Time Travel Movie

1.  "Taken 3"  (PG-13)

Liam Neeson returns for the third and final "Taken" movie as Bryan Mills, a former government operative who has a really hard time holding onto his family members.  In this one, he's accused of murdering his wife and goes on the run from the LAPD to protect his daughter and get revenge on whoever set him up.

Forrest Whitaker is the homicide detective hunting him down, while Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace are both back as his wife and daughter.

"Selma" expands nationwide.  It opened Christmas Day in just 19 theaters.  David Oyelowo plays Martin Luther King, Jr. in the story of the civil rights marches in the '60s.  OprahCommon, and Cuba Gooding Jr. are also in it.  (PG-13)

"Predestination" stars Ethan Hawke as a temporal agent whose mission is to prevent potential killers from committing their crimes in the future.  It's based on a short story called "All You Zombies" by sci-fi author Robert Heinlein.  (Limited)  (R)

"Inherent Vice" expands to 645 theaters.  It opened in five theaters on December 12th.  Joaquin Phoenix is a private investigator asked by his ex-girlfriend to stop a plot to kidnap her rich boyfriend.  (Limited)  (R)

Screech From Saved By The Bell In Court Today For Christmas Brawl

DUSTIN DIAMOND, the actor who played Screech in the 1990s TV show Saved by the Bell, has a scheduled court hearing today in Wisconsin on charges that he stabbed a man during a bar fight on Christmas.

USA TODAY says a criminal complaint charges Diamond with second-degree recklessly endangering safety, disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon. The complaint says Diamond and his fiancée, Amanda Schutz, got into a tussle with two men and a woman at the Grand Avenue Saloon in Port Washington on Thursday night. Diamond first appeared in a Wisconsin courtroom last week after posting bail.

Bruce Jenner Wants to Do His Own Kardashian-Free Reality Show

Since BRUCE and KRIS JENNER split, it has seemed like Bruce would be cool slipping back into anonymity but maybe that isn't the case.

TMZ claims Bruce is interested in doing his OWN reality show, where he and his three sons would "race cars, travel, and just generally bro out."  They described it as "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" with, quote, "a bit more testosterone."

This is just a rumor for now.  Technically, Bruce is still under contract with E!, so he'd have to work that out.  Naturally, he doesn't want to do "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" or any of its spin-offs since Kris is an executive producer.

Sylvester Stallone is Bringing Back Rocky and Rambo

SYLVESTER STALLONE just can't let Rocky or Rambo die.  He's bringing them BOTH back to the big screen.

Stallone recently Tweeted that he's doing a movie about real-life gangster Greg Scarpa AFTER he does the next Rambo movie, which will be called "Last Blood"

That's of course, a play on the title of the original Rambo movie, "First Blood" . . . which came out in 1982.

He also said he was on his way to Philadelphia to start filming "Creed", which has Rocky training the grandson of his one-time opponent Apollo Creed.  The kid will be played by MICHAEL B. JORDAN from "Fruitvale Station" and "Chronicle".

That one's due out next year.  There's no word on a timeline for the new Rambo flick.

"The Hobbit" Is #1 for a Third Straight Week

"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" made $21.9 million this weekend to lead the box office for a third straight week.  Its total haul so far is up to $221 million.
