Alec Baldwin Attacks a Photographer After Getting His Marriage License
ALEC BALDWIN and his young fiancée Hilaria Thomas went to City Hall in Manhattan yesterday to get a marriage license. And on their way out, Alec marked the happy occasion by ATTACKING A PAPARAZZO.
--Alec went after "New York Daily News" photographer. Of course, when it comes to the details, Santos and Baldwin have very different accounts.
--Santos was among several photographers outside the building. He says Baldwin came out looking irate, and told everyone to step back . . . which they did. But that didn't pacify him.
--Baldwin allegedly grabbed one of the other photographers, and Santos said, quote, "Don't touch him." That's when Baldwin went after Santos.
--He says, quote, "I knew he was going to attack me. I stepped back, and he kept coming.
--"He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me, one time, right in the chin. And then he started shoving me, and pushing me. Then he goes the other way."
--Another photographer who witnessed the chaos says, quote, "He was like crazy, you know? There was an eruption of mad . . . You're going to get a marriage license, you should be happy. What happened with this guy?"
--Baldwin's rep gave his side of the story.
--He said, quote, "As Alec and his fiancée were leaving City Hall, a 'civilian' walking in front of Alec positioned himself to obstruct the view of a photographer aggressively trying to shoot the couple.
--"The photographer was clearly frustrated, pushed past the bystander and assaulted Alec with his camera. There were no punches thrown, and any subsequent physical contact was simply Alec protecting himself."
--Alec also addressed the situation on Twitter yesterday. He said, quote, "A 'photographer' almost hit me in the face with his camera this morning. #allpaparazzishouldbewaterboarded."
--He added, quote, "I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hoodie and I shot him, it would all blow over."

BOBBY BROWN married his girlfriend Alicia Etheredge in Honolulu on Monday. Almost all of his kids were there, including his 3-year-old son with Alicia.
--The only one who wasn't there was BOBBI KRISTINA . . . his daughter with WHITNEY HOUSTON. She was shooting her reality show in New York City . . . and sources say they're not on very good terms anyway.

JOHNNY DEPP and VANESSA PARADIS denied all those rumors that their 14-year relationship was in trouble. They LIED.
--Johnny's publicist confirmed yesterday that they have, quote, "amicably separated."
--Johnny and Vanessa started dating in 1998, but they never got married. They have a 13-year-old daughter named Lily-Rose and a 10-year-old son named Jack. Johnny is 49 . . . Vanessa is 39.
--Some people are blaming the split on Johnny's "Rum Diaries" co-star AMBER HEARD . . . who is deliciously bisexual.
Charlie Sheen Blames Dave Chappelle for His Firing From "Two and a Half Men"
In the new issue of "Playboy", CHARLIE SHEEN explains whose fault it was that he got fired from "Two and a Half Men". And it's . . . DAVE CHAPPELLE. (???)
--Remember: Charlie's whole meltdown . . . all that "winning" and "tiger blood" nonsense . . . started when Charlie was hospitalized following several days of crazy, nonstop partying at his house.
--But he wasn't hospitalized over substance abuse like everyone assumed . . . it was a hernia. And it was Chappelle who caused the hernia.
--Charlie says, quote, "It was because of a Dave Chappelle sketch. Remember the scene where he's a blind white supremacist who doesn't know he's black? It's [effing] hilarious.
--"I'd never seen it, and I laughed myself into a hernia. That is 100% true. It's his fault. There you go. Dave Chappelle cost me my job."

KRISTEN STEWART has something to smile about today. Forbes has named her Hollywood's Highest-Paid Actress.
--Over the past 12 months, Kristen has banked $34.5 million. Thanks mainly to "Twilight", of course . . . with an assist from "Snow White and the Huntsman".
--CAMERON DIAZ ran a close second with $34 million. Believe it or not, a good bit of that came from "Bad Teacher", which was a pretty big hit. Cameron took a smaller salary in exchange for a cut of the profits, and it paid off. Here's the Top 10:
