A Lot of Celebrities Are Giving Justin Bieber a Pass for His Racist Videos . . . and Drake Bell Wonders Why
A lot of celebrities say JUSTIN BIEBER deserves a pass for the racist stuff he said when he was a kid . . . although they don't condone it.
USHER, who signed Justin when he was 13, says, quote, "Do I turn my head in shame based off of what I see, what I know?  Nah, I don't, because it's all part of life's process.  Am I in it with him?  Yeah."
That being said, some elements of Justin's downfall over the past year or so DO concern him.  He says, quote, "I hate some of the things I hear.  Is it all true?  I don't know.  But I will tell you this:  Success comes with a price."
RUSSELL BRAND released a video saying Justin deserves a break because, quote, "He's a child."
On "The View", WHOOPI GOLDBERG said she chalked it up to "youthful ignorance," and the fact that he's Canadian.  Some Canadians took offense to this so Whoopi went on Twitter to explain saying "Canadians, I was saying the N word is not something that lived in Canada the way it lived here, part of American history."
On the flip side, DRAKE BELL (Of Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh" fame) who's been a very outspoken critic of Justin . . . compared him to DONALD STERLING.  He Tweeted, quote, "Sterling [is] caught saying racist things and [it] ruins career . . . Justin gets caught, and the excuse 'He doesn't know any better' is used."
He deleted that tweet for some reason, but he later followed it up with the Tweet, quote, "If Justin Bieber didn't understand the racist jokes he spewed, why was he laughing at the punch line?  You don't laugh if you don't understand."
AL SHARPTON said the videos are "troubling" . . . and that this should be a teachable moment, for why, quote, "None of us can use the N-word."
Justin Has Issued an Apology for the Second Racist Video
JUSTIN BIEBER has issued an apology for the second racist video . . . and it's pretty much the same as his first one.  Except, in this one he took a page out of JONAH HILL'S book . . . with a "use me as an example of what not to do" bit.
He says, quote, "Facing my mistakes from years ago has been one of the hardest things I've ever dealt with.  But I feel now that I need to take responsibility for those mistakes and not let them linger.
"I just hope that the next 14-year-old kid who doesn't understand the power of these words does not make the same mistakes I made years ago.  At the end of the day, I just need to step up and own what I did."
Leonardo DiCaprio Refused to Be Filmed for "Keeping Up with the Kardashians"
Last Sunday, BRUCE and BRODY JENNER were at a club in L.A., doing some filming for "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".  It was some dude's birthday, and Brody was DJing the party.
LEONARDO DICAPRIO was there . . . but he didn't want ANY part of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".
A so-called "source" says, quote, "The organizers know how Leo feels about cameras, so they gave him a heads up.  He didn't want to be filmed for the show.  He wouldn't have wanted to be filmed for anything, but especially not that one."
