The Royal Baby's Name is George Alexander Louis
The royal baby has a name. It's GEORGE ALEXANDER LOUIS. Officially, he'll be known as Prince George of Cambridge.
There's no word why they chose the name . . . although PRINCE CHARLES has said that the monarch he admires the most is KING GEORGE THE THIRD.
He ruled from 1760 to 1820, and he does have that one minor black mark on his record. You know, that tiny little skirmish he lost to the American colonists. No biggie. (???)
Some say the prince is named after GEORGE THE SIXTH, who was QUEEN ELIZABETH'S father. And "Alexander" may be derived from her middle name, Alexandra. (COLIN FIRTH played George the Sixth in "The King's Speech".)
As for Louis, that might be a tribute to Lord Louis Mountbatten. He was the uncle of the Queen's husband, PRINCE PHILLIP. He and Charles were close.
Amanda Bynes Accidentally Soaked Her Dog in Gasoline
AMANDA BYNES had her Pomeranian with her when she lit that driveway fire on Monday night. And the poor dog ended up COVERED IN GASOLINE. After that happened, Amanda ran to a nearby liquor store and tried to wash it off.
In surveillance video from the store, you can see Amanda come in with the dog and bring it into an area designated for employees only. When the cashier goes back there, she leaves.
A source says the guy smelled gasoline, so he went to see what was happening. He found Amanda trying to wash the dog off in a sink. But she, quote, "freaked out" when she saw him.
The dog is fine, by the way. Amanda's parents have it.
Did Kim and Kanye Really Spend $767,000 on Gold Toilets?
This sounds like a B.S. story, but here it is: The not-always-reliable British tabloids say KIM KARDASHIAN and KANYE WEST spent about $767,000 on four GOLD-PLATED TOILETS for their new mansion.
They also spent $444,000 on six beds and $325,000 on kitchen appliances. They also bought a refrigerator encrusted with Swarovski crystals. There's no word how much that cost.
A so-called "source" close to Kim and Kanye is denying this, but we've heard nothing official.
Are Zac Efron and Ryan Gosling Going to Be in the New "Star Wars" Movie?
The World Wide Web of Movie Gossip says that ZAC EFRON and RYAN GOSLING are up for parts in the new "Star Wars" movie. There's no word who Zac would play, but Ryan is supposedly being considered for Luke Skywalker's son.
(If you follow the books, then you know that character would be Ben Skywalker . . . who was named after Luke's mentor, Obi Wan Kenobi.)
Meanwhile, LEONARDO DICAPRIO reportedly had meetings, but he bowed out to do a movie based on the Japanese anime, "Robotech".
The Mysterious Feud Continues: Jon Bon Jovi Supposedly Blocked Richie Sambora from Rejoining the Band This Week
The mysterious "feud" between JON BON JOVI and guitarist RICHIE SAMBORA is STILL ongoing.
A so-called "source" tells RadarOnline.com that Richie wanted to return for the band's show in New Jersey TONIGHT . . . but Jon wasn't having it.
The source says, quote, "Jon won't allow Richie to come back for that show. And Jon won't even pick up the phone and talk to [him]. Richie has tried to end this feud but Jon won't respond."
The source adds that Jon may be trying to push Richie out of the band so he can pocket more of the cash and, quote, "accomplish his lifelong goal of buying an NFL football team."
There's still NO WORD what this is all about. Richie left the tour back in April to deal with some sort of "personal matter." Since then, they've been saying passive aggressive things about each other in public.
But Jon has insisted that Richie is still a member of the band, and has suggested that he's free to return whenever he wants.
You Could Own Chuck Norris' "Walker, Texas Ranger" Home for $1.2 Million
CHUCK NORRIS is unloading one of his homes . . . and even better, it's also the property that was the onscreen home of his "Walker, Texas Ranger" character, Cordell Walker.
Chuck listed it on Friday for $1.2 MILLION. It's in the Dallas area, and includes FOUR bedrooms, SEVEN full bathrooms and a theater. There's also a separate building that served as a studio for the filming of "Walker, Texas Ranger".
It also has a gym, which includes a bunch of memorabilia from the show, which apparently comes with the house. It's more than 7,300 square feet . . . so there's PLENTY of room for you to ROUNDHOUSE KICK to your heart's content.
There's nothing wrong with the place, Chuck and his wife have homes elsewhere and want to "downsize." If you're interested in owning this piece of HISTORY, hurry! A "handful" of potential buyers have already toured the house.
