The Latest on Amanda Bynes

AMANDA BYNES' doctors are extending her hospital stay for TWO WEEKS, saying they need that much time to properly diagnose her.

TMZ says doctors believe she's suffering from SEVERE mental illness, and they've even noticed schizophrenic tendencies.  They say she can go through long periods of lucidity, but she can also slip right back into CRAZY.

But on the plus side, she tested NEGATIVE for all drugs, except marijuana.

However, RadarOnline.com says Amanda has been taking Adderall for years.  It's supposedly for ADHD, but the REAL reason she takes it is for weight loss . . . and it's doing nothing but adding to her paranoia.

She's been asking for it in the hospital, but doctors won't give it to her.

Yesterday, Amanda's parents filed for a conservatorship.

And finally, Amanda has become friends with SAM LUTFI over the past few months.  You may remember that name because he's the leech who was hanging around BRITNEY SPEARS during HER meltdown.

Britney ended up getting a restraining order against him.  Oh, and sources say he's currently managing COURTNEY LOVE.

#3.)  OPRAH'S OWN network is developing a reality show based on former NFL AND baseball player DEION SANDERS.  The show is called "It's Prime's Time", and it'll debut early next year.  (One of Deion's nicknames is "Prime Time".)

The show will cover, Deion's "crazy and chaotic life," which includes, quote "the challenges of raising his five children in a household that also includes his mother, her foster children and his aunt and uncle."

His girlfriend TRACEY EDMONDS will also appear on the show.

In a German interview, she said, quote, "Hopefully my hair grows really quick and next time you see me I'll have a pony down to my butt.

"I just always want to be different.  Everyone else has cut their hair to look just like me, so now I got to do something different.  I don't like when you walk in and you see a bunch of other yous."

"The Wolverine" and "The To Do List" Hit Theaters This Weekend

1.  "The Wolverine"  (PG-13)
Hugh Jackman stars as Wolverine once again.  This one picks up after "X-Men: The Last Stand".  Logan's in Japan, to say goodbye to a friend he saved in World War Two.  But the guy offers him a chance to finally be MORTAL . . . by taking away his ability to heal.

The Silver Samurai is the villain, and Wolverine has to take on an army of ninjas . . . which has to suck when you don't have your healing power any more.

Hugh says, quote, "We want people who've never seen an 'X-Men' movie to not be intimidated to go. That's one of the reasons why it's called 'The Wolverine' and not 'Wolverine 5' . . . or whatever it is."

And Famke Janssen returns as Jean Grey, in Logan's nightmares.

2.  "Apartment 1303"  (R)

Julianne Michelle stars in this 3D remake of a Japanese horror movie, about a woman who moves into a haunted apartment with a history of suicides.

Mischa Barton plays her older sister, who doesn't believe her sister's death was a suicide, and moves into the same apartment to figure out what really happened.  Rebecca DeMornay is in it as their controlling mother.

3.  "The To Do List"  (R)
Aubrey Plaza from "Parks and Recreation" caves in to peer pressure, and makes a list of all the naughty things she needs to experience before college.  Alia Shawkat from "Arrested Development" plays her best friend, and "The O.C.'s" Rachel Bilson plays Aubrey's promiscuous older sister.

Clark Gregg from "The Avengers" plays Aubrey's father.  Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, Donald Glover, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are also in it.
