Jessica Simpson Got Married Saturday
JESSICA SIMPSON and her fiancé, former NFL player ERIC JOHNSON, got married Saturday at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California on Saturday.
They released a statement saying, quote, "We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment. To say 'I do' in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives."
Jessica and Eric got engaged in 2010, but ended up having two kids before making it official.
And the kids WERE a part of the ceremony. Their 1-year-old son Ace was the ring bearer, and their 2-year-old daughter Maxwell was the flower girl. She was accompanied down the aisle Jessica's sister ASHLEE'S 5-year-old son Bronx.
Obviously, Ashlee was in attendance, along with her boyfriend Evan Ross, who's the son of DIANA ROSS.
Other celebrities included Donald Faison from "Scrubs", who's married to Jessica's friend CaCee Cobb . . . Jessica Alba and her husband . . . and Topher Grace.
The wedding was preceded by a 4th of July barbecue on Friday.
Is "Call Me Maybe" Singer Carly Rae Jepsen Broke and Desperately Pawning Her Stuff for Cash?
Three years ago, CARLY RAE JEPSEN was named "Billboard" magazine's "rising star."
But since then, Carly has been fading into obscurity . . . and there's talk that she's BROKE now, and is desperately trying to unload her stuff for cash.
A questionably reliable blog claims Carly was in a New York City pawnshop recently, trying to get money for her $25,000 handbag.
Supposedly, the shop wasn't interested . . . and Carly, quote, "begged them to at least give her a couple of thousand." They turned her down . . . but she was able to sell them a piece of jewelry.
Now, there's a pretty good chance this is an exaggeration . . . assuming she was even in the pawnshop in the first place. That being said, it wouldn't be shocking if it were true. Carly hasn't commented.
Two "Glee" Star Were Hacked: Lea Michele is Not Pregnant and Chris Colfer is Not Leaving the Show
Two "Glee" stars had their Twitter accounts hacked a day apart last week.
On Friday, LEA MICHELE Tweeted that she was pregnant . . . except she it wasn't really her.
The day before that, someone hacked CHRIS COLFER'S account and Tweeted, quote, "Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE. Explanations will come shortly." That one turned out to be bogus, too.
The REAL Lea Tweeted, quote, "Guess Chris Colfer and I should have known better then to make our passwords the names of our cats:)" And Chris said, "I'm just glad I wasn't killed by a fruit truck again."
