Are Jenny McCarthy and Brooke Shields Replacing Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck on "The View"?
According to "Us Weekly", JENNY MCCARTHY is in, quote, "serious talks" to replace JOY BEHAR when she steps down as co-host of "The View" next month.  (Joy announced she was leaving back in March.  She's been there since 1997.)
The magazine is also still claiming that ELISABETH HASSELBECK is leaving this fall . . . and that the leading candidate to replace HER is BROOKE SHIELDS.
Jenny and Brooke have both guest hosted several times in the past, and Jenny currently has her own talk show on VH1 . . . which hasn't been doing very well in the ratings.
If both deals get done, the five co-hosts would be Jenny, Brooke, SHERRI SHEPHERD, WHOOPI GOLDBERG and BARBARA WALTERS . . . who announced in May that she plans to retire NEXT summer.
Justin Timberlake's New Video Features Tons of Nudity . . . And YouTube is Allowing It
I guess the new trend in music videos is TONS OF TOPLESS WOMEN.  Because ROBIN THICKE did it with "Blurred Lines", and now JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S new video, "Tunnel Vision", is pretty much all boobs.
The difference, though, is that you can see Justin's video on YouTube.  The site DID initially pull "Tunnel Vision" because of the nudity . . . just like they did with "Blurred Lines".
But they put "Tunnel Vision" back up, saying that they, quote, "make exceptions when [nudity or sexual content] is presented in an educational, documentary or artistic context."
Of course, you have to have a YouTube account so you can sign in and "confirm your age" before watching it.
George Clooney Might Be Over Stacie Keibler
The Sunday People newspaper claims George Clooney and Stacy Keibler are done.
A source tells the paper, “It’s not like George and Stacy couldn’t find time to get together if they really wanted to. George is quietly backing away from the relationship. It’s always the same. As soon as he feels a woman is getting too close he pulls back.”
Jennifer Love Hewitt Has Quit Twitter
Jennifer Love Hewitt is the latest celebrity to quit Twitter.
She writes, "Unfortunately with all the negativity people choose to send on twitter as well as threats to their own well being. I'm sad to say twitter is... no longer for me. I have enjoyed all the kindness and love that came my way, as well as support. But this break is needed. Life should be filled with positivity and holding each other up, not making threats and sending bad vibes. To those of you who made it a joy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
She didn't say if there was a specific threat or tweet that finally drove her to delete her account.
Elton John Is Not A Fan of "The Voice"
ELTON JOHN recently ripped The Voice for not focusing on the singers.
He told the BBC, "The Voice is all about watching the judges. Nobody on The Voice in America has had a hit record. And nobody on The Voice in England has had a hit record - they're nonentities."
"Despicable Me 2" Won the July 4th Weekend Box Office
"Despicable Me 2" dominated the 4th of July weekend box office, earning $142 million since last Wednesday.  That's way more than the $56.4 million the original "Despicable Me" made three years ago, but that wasn't over a holiday weekend.
It was a different story for JOHNNY DEPP'S "The Lone Ranger", which could possibly go down as one of the biggest FLOPS in summer box office history.  The movie made just $48.9 million over the five-day weekend . . . despite costing $215 million to make.
Here are this week's Top 5 movies:
1.  (NEW)  "Despicable Me 2", $82.5 million.  Up to $142 million since Wednesday.
2.  (NEW)  "The Lone Ranger", $29.4 million.  Up to $48.9 million since Wednesday.
3.  "The Heat", $25 million.  Up to $86.4 million in its 2nd week.
4.  "Monsters University", $19.6 million.  Up to $216 million in its 3rd week.
5.  "World War Z", $18.2 million.  Up to $159 million in its 3rd week.
