The Rock's Mother and Cousin Were Hit Head-On By a Drunk Driver . . . But They're Going to Be OK
DWAYNE "THE ROCK" JOHNSON had a scare last week when his mother and cousin were hit head-on by a drunk driver. The Rock posted a picture of the crash, and it looks like it was pretty serious. But it sounds like everyone's going to be OK.
In the caption, he said, quote, "My mom & cousin were struck head on by a drunk driver this week - they lived. First reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them.
"But then you realize the most important thing is my family lived thru this and we can hug each other that much tighter these days. Hug your own family tighter today and be grateful you can tell them you love them."

Did Michael Jackson Pee All Over His Neverland House and Threaten to Throw Poop at the Help?
Three women who worked as maids at the Neverland Ranch told the "New York Post" that MICHAEL JACKSON was a PIG.
They claim that if Michael was in the house and had to pee, he'd just unzip his pants and go . . . wherever he was. He wouldn't even bother trying to make it to the bathroom.
Also, he would track animal poop from the mini-zoo into the house . . . and would threaten to THROW POOP AT THE HELP.
Michael's bedroom was littered with, quote, "half-eaten chicken, potato chips, empty wine and whiskey bottles." And it was so bad the place was infested with BEDBUGS.
Shark Week is Finally Here!
Discovery Channel's 27th annual Shark Week kicked-off last night with Air Jaws: Fins of Fury, the first of 13 new shows airing through Aug. 16, when it all wraps up with Sharksanity (10 p.m.).
Shark Week is a big hit with viewers, but is it getting too sensational? George Burgess, director of the Florida Program for Shark Research in Gainesville, tells USA TODAY that the Shark Week frenzy is a double-edged sword. "I'm kind of disappointed, and I think most researchers are, too," Burgess said. "It obviously is a big draw, but I'm afraid that the programs have gone more to entertainment and less to documentary over the years."

KJ's Kinda Nerdy News: "Batman v. Superman" Director Zack Snyder Talks Up Aquaman . . . Does That Mean He's Going to Be in the Movie?
It hasn't been confirmed yet, but a lot of people think JASON MOMOA is playing Aquaman in "Superman v. Batman". The movie is currently filming in Detroit, and on Friday, the guys on a local radio show were DISSING Aquaman.
I've never been a big fan of Aquaman but apparently "Superman v. Batman" director ZACK SNYDER actually felt the need to defend his honor. He wouldn't admit that Aquaman is in the movie, but here's what he had to say . . .
"Aquaman has some cool abilities that I think people are like, 'Oh what does he talk to animals, because that seems like what he does, or fish or whatever?'
"The cool thing is, with Aquaman his trident (people don't realize this) could cut the flesh of Superman, if they came in contact. That's a thing that's in the canon. He's super strong. Because of course he can exist at these super deep depths.
"So when he comes up here he's crazy strong. Not to say he's in my movie, or anything like that . . . He has the potential to be badass. That's all I'm saying."
