Ben Affleck Met With Lindsay Lohan . . . But Not to Offer Her a Movie Role
BEN AFFLECK met secretly with LINDSAY LOHAN while she was in rehab, but it wasn't to offer her a movie role, as some sites are reporting. Ben went to rehab himself back in 2001, so he was basically just there to offer her support and advice.
Sources say she was, quote, "touched" by the whole thing.
Meanwhile, other sources say Lindsay came out of rehab TOTALLY clean. That means no PRESCRIPTION meds, either . . . including Adderall.
And finally, in a new preview clip for her interview with OPRAH, Lindsay says, quote, "I'm my own worst enemy, I know that."
Why Did Justin Bieber Serenade His Grandmother Naked?
Some pictures just hit the web of Justin serenading his grandmother COMPLETELY NUDE . . . with just his guitar covering his bits and bobs.
It happened at Grandma's house in Toronto last Thanksgiving. We assume that means it was early October, since that's when CANADIAN Thanksgiving is.
A source says Justin just came out of his room like that to mess with everybody. Then he went right up to Grandma and started serenading her with impromptu lyrics like, "I love you, grandma", and "how are you?"
Although everybody got a kick out of it, not surprisingly Grandma made Justin go back to his room and put on some clothes.
There's no word how these photos ended up online.
Paula Deen Won't Face Racial Discrimination Claims in Court
PAULA DEEN won kind of a hollow victory yesterday, when a judge dismissed the racial discrimination claims that were part of a lawsuit filed by a former employee. These are the claims that basically destroyed her career. At least temporarily.
The judge said that since the plaintiff is WHITE, she can't claim to be a victim of discrimination against African American employees. Her other claims, including sexual harassment and abusive treatment, are still pending.
Unfortunately for Paula, the damage that exploded exponentially from the filing of that lawsuit is already done. It's possible she'll never fully recover from it. (And for the record, the judge didn't say Paula ISN'T a racist . . . just that the white defendant can't sue her for being one.)
Victoria Beckham Thinks Taking a Helicopter to Her Son's Parent-Teacher Meeting Is "Normal"
Celebrities always want us to think that their lives are normal like ours. VICTORIA BECKHAM was doing a photo shoot and interview for "Vogue" magazine in London and tried to convince us of her ho-hum life.
And during the course of the conversation, she said that her family is, quote, "much more normal than people think."
As soon as she was done with "Vogue", she left for parent-teacher night for one of her kids. In a HELICOPTER.
Jennifer Lawrence Always Knew She Was Going to Be Famous
JENNIFER LAWRENCE tells "Vogue" magazine she always knew she was going to be famous . . . quote, "I used to lie in bed and wonder, 'Am I going to be a local TV person? Am I going to be a motivational speaker?' It wasn't a vision. But as it's kind of happening, you have this buried understanding: Of course."
Despite knowing it was coming all these years, Jennifer say she's, quote, "not okay" with fame . . . quote, "I'm just really starting to feel like a monkey in a zoo . . . I'm kind of going through a meltdown about it lately."
"All of a sudden the entire world feels entitled to know everything about me, including what I'm doing on weekends when I'm spending time with my nephew. And I don't have the right to say, 'I'm with my family.'"
She adds, quote, "I am just a normal girl and a human being, and I haven't been in this long enough to feel like this is my new normal. I'm not going to find peace with it."
