Nick Cannon Confirms That He and Mariah Carey are Separated
NICK CANNON admitted yesterday that he and MARIAH CAREY are separated. He said, quote, "There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months."
He didn't say WHY they split. He just added, quote, "My main focus is my kids." Mariah's rep refused to comment, saying her focus is, quote, "on her children and her upcoming tour."
There's still plenty of speculation, of course. One source claims the beginning of the end came when Nick admitted on a radio show that he had once hooked up with KIM KARDASHIAN. Mariah did NOT appreciate him making that public . . . and she got even MORE upset when Nick revealed that she didn't give it up to him until they were married.
She also hates that he takes every gig that comes his way, even though they don't need the money. Sources say he likes to work so people won't think he's living off Mariah's money. And that Nick is reportedly fed up with Mariah's, quote, "diva antics."
Meanwhile . . . Nick took the Ice Bucket Challenge in nothing but a towel. And it reminded us of the ENORMOUS "Mariah" tattoo he has across his back. It's gonna suck getting that lasered off.
Jennifer Aniston Says She Stays Home to Avoid Being "Bullied on the Internet"
JENNIFER ANISTON doesn't want to be chased down by the paparazzi and ridiculed online for something she says or does . . . so to avoid that, she and her fiancé JUSTIN THEROUX stay holed-up in their house.
She tells Britain's "Express" newspaper, quote, "You do the best you can, but it feels like it's getting worse and very nasty because of bullying on the Internet. Even movie critics don't just comment on the film, they tear people apart on a human level.
"I don't know why that is happening but it is . . . [so] we just stay home so there really isn't anything to report.
Pamela Anderson Won't Do the Ice Bucket Challenge . . . Because She Says the ALS Association Does Animal Testing
If you've dared PAMELA ANDERSON to take the Ice Bucket Challenge, I have bad news for you: She's not doing it. And it's because she claims the ALS Association supports ANIMAL TESTING.
In a note on her Facebook page she said, quote, "Sorry, I can't bring myself to do your Ice bucket challenge . . . I thought instead I'd challenge ALS to stop animal testing.
"Recent experiments funded by the ALS Association, mice had holes drilled into their skulls, were inflicted with crippling illnesses, and were forced to run on an inclined treadmill until they collapsed from exhaustion.
"Monkeys had chemicals injected into their brains and backs and were later killed and dissected."
Then she listed statistics that supposedly prove animal testing really doesn't work, and urged fans to, quote, "find and support charities that never harm animals and which pour their time and resources into advanced, promising, human-relevant cures."
Meanwhile, PINK'S husband CAREY HART also refused to take the challenge, but not really on moral grounds. He donated to ALS instead. But he did call out the whole concept.
He Tweeted, quote, "It's extremely creepy and annoying how obsessed people are with this ice bucket challenge. The purposes is to raise money for an awful disease.
"If you are that into seeing people dump buckets of ice water over their heads, go find a wet t shirt contest. Time to find a hobby, people."
