The Beach Boys Are Reuniting for a Performance at the Grammys

The surviving members of the BEACH BOYS will perform at the Grammys Sunday . . . for the first time in more than 20 YEARS.

--The lineup features MIKE LOVE, who's 70 years old . . . BRIAN WILSON, AL JARDINE and BRUCE JOHNSTON, who are all 69 . . . and DAVID MARKS, who's 63.

--The Beach Boys won't be alone though. They're teaming up with FOSTER THE PEOPLE and MAROON 5 for a "special performance." (???) (--So the fact that it's the Beach Boys first performance in over 20 years wasn't enough?)

--There's no word what song or songs they're all performing . . . but the general consensus is that they're doing some sort of medley featuring songs from each group.

Adele Knew Something Was Wrong with Her Voice When "It Felt Like Something Popped in Her Throat"

ADELE will perform for the first time in four months this Sunday at the Grammys . . . after having vocal cord surgery in November.

--In a "60 Minutes" interview with ANDERSON COOPER, which airs before the Grammys, Adele talks about the moment she realized something was wrong.

--She says, quote, "It felt like someone put a curtain over my throat. It felt like something popped in my throat."

--Adele had it checked out . . . and the doctors discovered a polyp on her vocal cord that had hemorrhaged. She says, quote, "I had laser surgery . . .

--"[They] put lasers down your throat, cut off the polyp, and kind of laser your hemorrhage back together and fix it."

--Adele has been cleared to perform at the Grammys . . . and at the Brit Awards later this month . . . but she doesn't want to push it yet. She says, quote, "If I decide to go on a 200-date world tour, it would happen again."

--Meanwhile, in an interview with "People" magazine, Adele comments on the Internet's relentless fascination with her weight. She says, quote, "I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines.

Russell Brand Doesn't Want Katy Perry's Money . . . Allegedly

RUSSELL BRAND could have scored himself more than $20 million in his divorce from KATY PERRY . . . but according to TMZ, he doesn't want it.

--Russell and Katy didn't have a prenup, and in California that means the assets can be split 50-50. Katy made somewhere in the neighborhood of $44 million during the 14 months they were married, and Russell is cool letting her keep it.

--A source says, quote, "This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a [good guy]." (--There's no word what Russell made during the marriage, but it definitely wasn't $44 million.)

Jim Carrey's Daughter Was Booted from "American Idol" Last Night . . . and a 16-year-old Fell Off the Stage

JIM CARREY'S daughter JANE CARREY is no longer getting special treatment on "American Idol". She was eliminated last night, on the first episode of Hollywood Week. (--Here's video of Jane being booted.)

--The episode ended with a 16-year-old contestant named Symone Black collapsing and falling off the stage. It wasn't a joke, they called the medics and everything. (--Here's video of that.)

--We'll have to wait until tonight to find out what happened to her. But you know she didn't DIE or anything . . . or "Idol" wouldn't have used that as a cliffhanger.

Ray Romano's Wife Beat Breast Cancer

RAY ROMANO and his wife ANNA reveal in this week's issue of "People" magazine that Anna has beaten breast cancer.

--Anna was diagnosed with invasive, stage one breast cancer in February of 2010. She underwent chemotherapy, which caused her to lose her hair. She says, quote, "I'm already shy and the last thing I wanted to do was walk around bald."

--Another tough thing about having cancer was letting other people help HER. She says, quote, "I take on everybody's stress, but this had to be all about me. I'm not like that!"

--Ray says they're coming forward to help others who are going through the same thing . . . quote, "The reason we're going public is to share our experience . . . to have an effect. Our goal is to help people."

--He adds, quote, "We dodged a bullet. Now we want to give back."

(--Ray and Anna have been married 24 years. They have four children, ages 14 to 21. Ray is 54 . . . Anna is 48.)

"House" Is Ending After This Season

It's official: "House" is ending after this season, the show's eighth. The finale is scheduled to air on May 21st.

--Both Fox and the show's producers released statements . . . but neither explained specifically WHY the show was ending. For what it's worth, Fox says it was the producers' decision . . . they didn't cancel it. And HUGH LAURIE is one of those producers.

--Obviously ratings were a factor: "House" premiered in November of 2004, and its ratings peaked in the third season, at 20 million viewers an episode. The audience has steadily declined since then. "House" has averaged 7.8 million viewers this season, which is a series low.

--Also, last year "House's" renewal went down to the wire . . . with Fox eventually picking it up at the last minute after cutting the show's budget.

--Hugh's contract was up after this season. And last fall, he said he planned to retire after the show ended. He's 52.

Gisele Bundchen Insulted the Patriots' Receivers After the Super Bowl

TOM BRADY may want to tell his wife GISELE BUNDCHEN to quit talking for awhile.

--Last week she embarrassed him by sending an e-mail to friends and family asking them to pray for her "Tommy" so he and his Patriots teammates could, quote, "fulfill their dream of winning this Super Bowl."

--Sunday night after the game. . . Gisele was making her way through Lucas Oil Stadium.

--Unfortunately for Gisele, there were cameras on her, and some jerks were heckling her. So she started complaining to the people in her group. And she took a pretty hard swipe at the Patriots' receivers.

--She said, quote, "My husband cannot [effing] throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time."

--She also said something about them not catching the ball when they're supposed to.

--And, although the audio isn't clear, several media outlets are reporting that she also said, quote, "I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."

Is Madonna Mad at M.I.A. for Overshadowing Her Performance?

The British tabloids are REALLY on top of M.I.A.'S Super Bowl halftime show "controversy," in which she gave America the middle finger.

--Here's the latest: The "Sun" is claiming that Madonna is "livid" at M.I.A. for upstaging her. A "source" says, quote, "Madonna wasn't impressed. She prides herself on professionalism. [She] wanted to put on a world-beating performance . . .

--"But everyone ended up talking about this girl's middle finger."

--Meanwhile, "a member of M.I.A.'s camp" told the "Daily Mail" that M.I.A. is SO SORRY . . . quote, "It was a case of adrenaline and nerves. She wasn't thinking. It wasn't any kind of statement. She was caught in the moment."

--TMZ claims M.I.A. might end up getting the bill if NBC is fined for unknowingly broadcasting her middle finger.

--M.I.A. signed a contract with the NFL to appear during the halftime show, and sources say it included a provision in which she had to accept responsibility for any fines that were handed out on her behalf.

--In other words, if the FCC nails NBC . . . the bill goes to the NFL, who will pass it along to M.I.A.

--And supposedly, the NFL would have no interest in bailing M.I.A. out . . . because they'd want to send a message to all future performers.

Madonna's Halftime Show Averaged More Viewers Than the Actual Game . . . and Set Twitter on Fire

MADONNA's halftime show attracted 114 million viewers. That was up almost 3 million from the rest of the game, which averaged 111.3 million viewers. It was also about 4 million more than the BLACK EYED PEAS' halftime show drew last year.

--It's now the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show EVER, which isn't that surprising since this year's Super Bowl was the most-watched ever.

--Madonna was also big online. According to Twitter, the halftime show generated 10,245 Tweets-per-second . . . or "TPS", if you're hip to this kind of nonsense. That was enough to set a new record for a "live entertainment event."

RIHANNA and CHRIS BROWN were partying at the same club AGAIN on Sunday night after the Super Bowl. And it was Greystone Manor in Los Angeles . . . the same place where it happened just last month.

Brad Pitt Says Angelina Jolie is "Still a Bad Girl" in Private

BRAD PITT would like you to know that ANGELINA JOLIE is STILL freaky. On "CBS This Morning" yesterday he said, quote, "She' still a bad girl. Delightfully so. It's not for public consumption."

LeAnn Rimes Had Minor Oral Surgery

LEANN RIMES had some kind of oral surgery last week. We're not sure exactly what it was for, because there's been no official statement. In fact, she kept it quiet until Saturday when she leaked the news on her Twitter page.

--She wrote, quote, "K, coming clean. I had minor surgery this week and I've been in SO much pain it's not even funny. Nothing major just annoying! Pain, pain, go away!!! When it's mouth pain and jaw pain it makes your whole head pound! Yuck."

--Later that day she Tweeted, quote, "Got meds but nada is helping, sadly."

--And then on Sunday she mentioned the actual surgery. She wrote, quote, "I was supposed to work and I've been in so much pain from mouth surgery I went and laid outside on a lounge chair for hours."

Poison Is Touring with Def Leppard This Summer

It's official: POISON and DEF LEPPARD are touring together this summer. Poison drummer RIKKI ROCKETT confirmed it on Facebook. No dates have been announced yet.

--In a recent interview, Def Leppard guitarist PHIL COLLEN admitted that it might happen, and pointed out that it would coincide with the release of the movie "Rock of Ages", which features '80s music, including both Def Leppard and Poison.

(--"Rock of Ages" hits theaters on June 15th. It stars TOM CRUISE.)

--Collen also said, quote, "It would be a lot of fun to get some of the other bands featured in 'Rock of Ages' out with us. I would love for the third band to be someone like TWISTED SISTER, since they're also in the new movie.

--"I think that would make for a great lineup." (--For now, it's unclear if any other bands will join Poison and Def Leppard.)

--She told the party, quote, "I will barnstorm American living rooms. Mainstream media will be unable to ignore me, but more importantly they will be unable to overlook the needs of average Americans in the run-up to the 2012 election."

--In a separate statement, she expressed her dislike for the two major parties . . . quote, "The Democrats and Republicans have proven that they are servants . . . bought and paid for by the 1% . . . who are not doing what's in the best interest of the American people."

--One of Roseanne's key issues is MARIJUANA. She wants it legalized and sold BY Americans TO Americans.

Kris Humphries Has Never Seen Any of His Wedding Gifts

One of the many things KRIS HUMPHRIES and KIM KARDASHIAN are arguing about is their wedding gifts . . . which include a Ferrari.

--According to HollywoodLife.com, Kim is basically hoarding the gifts, and he hasn't seen any of them since the wedding back in August.

--Kris thinks the gifts should have at least been split 50-50 . . . but not because he wants them for himself. He thinks they should all be RETURNED.

--A source says, quote, "He's read in the magazines that she's returned some of the gifts and exchanged them for Rolex watches. He also heard a rumor she returned the gifts and gave the money to charity, but he doesn’t know about that either."

Is Kim Kardashian Hooking Up With Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez?

KIM KARDASHIAN may have found a new athlete to grind up against. There's a rumor going around that Kim has been secretly getting it on with New York Jets quarterback MARK SANCHEZ.

--Sources say she first started hitting that BEFORE she dated KRIS HUMPHRIES. And they've been back at it since that relationship ended.

--One source says, quote, "Kim and Mark like to meet in hotels for dinner dates and flings. Whenever Kim is in New York, they hang out. They are very careful with not being seen together, Mark is seeing someone!"

Brad Pitt Sometimes Shoves Coca-Cola Down His Kids' Throats to Get Them Up in the Morning

Maybe BRAD PITT isn't the most perfect parent ever. On an upcoming episode of "Inside the Actors' Studio", Brad admits that he sometimes shoves caffeine in his kids' faces to get them moving in the morning.

--He says, quote, "I admit there's times like, 'We gotta get up. Get up! Here's your shoes. Here's your shoes. Drink this Coke. Drink this Coca-Cola. Drink it all. Right now! Drink it! Drink it! Drink it!' Just so we could get 'em up and going."

It's Official: Paula Abdul Has Been Dropped from "X Factor"

Yesterday, PAULA ABDUL released a statement confirming that SIMON COWELL dropped her from "X Factor".

--She said, quote, "I won't be returning to 'The X Factor' next season. I've learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions often times override personal considerations.

--"Simon and I have been communicating about this for a while now, and I have absolute understanding of the situation. Simon is, and will remain a dear friend of mine and I've treasured my experience working [on the show] this past season.

--"I want nothing more than for 'The X Factor' to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful."

--Simon later released a statement on this so-called "bloodbath," which included the dismissal of host STEVE JONES and judge NICOLE SCHERZINGER. But Simon gave Paula some extra lovin'.

--He said, quote, "I want to say a massive thank you to Paula, Nicole and Steve for being part of 'The X Factor' last year. We had a lot of fun making the show together and importantly, we found some real talent and stars.

--"You do develop friendships with the people you work with . . . and Paula, in particular, is a very close friend and I expect to be working with her on another project in the near future."

Justin Bieber's Dad Beat Up His Own Nephew . . . For Suggesting He Lives Off Justin

JUSTIN BIEBER'S dad JEREMY reportedly beat his own nephew about the head and neck outside a bar earlier this month . . . for suggesting that he just lives off his son's success.

--Jeremy . . . who's 37-years-old . . . was drinking at a bar in Ontario, Canada with his 20-year-old nephew Tylor.

--For reasons unknown, Tylor started razzing Jeremy, saying he, quote, "wouldn't be anything if it weren't for Justin."

--Jeremy went off. A source says, quote, "He started pushing Tylor in the chest, knocking him back and angrily telling him he wanted to be called by his own name, screaming, 'I'm Jeremy Bieber!'"

--Tylor tried to do the smart thing and leave, but Jeremy followed him outside, grabbed him by his coat and punched him repeatedly in the face.

--Tylor took off running and Jeremy went back into the bar. A source says he, quote, "strolled back inside, bought the whole bar drinks and started playing pool like nothing happened."

(--Although Justin and his dad have a good relationship, the "National Enquirer" claims Jeremy has a history of drug and alcohol abuse and a long criminal record. They also say he's never held a full-time job for long and makes money selling autographed photos of Justin on the Internet.)

It's Official: Adele Will Return with a Performance at the Grammys

After weeks of speculation, ADELE has announced that she WILL perform at the Grammys. It will be her first performance since undergoing vocal cord surgery back in October.

--She Tweeted, quote, "Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It's been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can't wait, speak soon."

--She also released a statement saying, quote, "I'm immensely proud to have been asked to perform . . . and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-wracking, but what a way to get back into it all."

--The Grammys air live on Sunday, February 12th. LL Cool J is hosting . . . and the list of performers also includes: Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson.

"Live! with Kelly" Is Still Holding Auditions to Find Regis Philbin's Replacement, Here's the Latest

"Live! with Kelly" hasn't zeroed in on a new co-host for KELLY RIPA yet . . . but several former guest hosts are being brought back in for a second audition.

--Executive producer MICHAEL GELMAN says, quote, "We've just scratched the surface of people out there . . . we have enjoyed a lot of people who have already co-hosted, and we're bringing a bunch of them back for more 'dates.'"

--That first batch of callbacks will include: JERRY O'CONNELL, DANA CARVEY, SETH MEYERS and former New York Giant MICHAEL STRAHAN. But that doesn't mean these five are the finalists.

Adam Sandler Will Star in the "Candyland" Movie

It's already silly enough that they're making a movie out of the children's board game "Candyland". But the whole thing just got sillier. A LOT sillier.

Demi Moore Has Been Hospitalized for Stress and Exhaustion . . . and Maybe Substance Abuse

DEMI MOORE was rushed to the hospital Monday night. Her rep blamed STRESS and EXHAUSTION.

--Here's the official statement . . . quote, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.

--"She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

--But TMZ says there was more to it than that. They claim 911 was called to Demi's home Monday night at 10:45 due to SUBSTANCE ABUSE . . . and that's what she's seeking treatment for.

--A source told E! Online that it was a female friend of Demi's who called 911. She told the operator Demi was shaking and, quote, "acting like she was suffering from a seizure."

--Demi split from husband ASHTON KUTCHER back in November because of his alleged cheating. She's been spending most of her time since then NOT EATING.

--Due to her hospitalization, Demi has dropped out of "Lovelace" . . . the movie about legendary porno star LINDA LOVELACE. Demi was going to play feminist icon GLORIA STEINEM.

Heidi Klum and Seal Have a Prenup

SEAL was on “Ellen” yesterday talking about his divorce from HEIDI KLUM while still wearing his wedding ring. (???)

--Of course, Ellen asked him what that was about and he responded saying wearing the ring is a symbol of how connected they still are and that both he and Heidi were “shocked” that they were ending their marriage.

--Despite being “shocked” by their own divorce, "Us Weekly" says that Heidi and Seal have a prenuptial agreement. Which is probably good for Heidi because she's worth a LOT more than he is.

--Not that Seal is broke or anything. He's worth somewhere around $15 million. But that's nothing compared to Heidi.

--Thanks to her TV shows, jewelry line, modeling and other ventures, she's amassed a fortune in the neighborhood of $70 million.

Khloe Kardashian Is Getting Her Own Radio Show in Dallas

If you don't get enough of the KARDASHIANS on TV, then I've got good news for you . . . if you live in Dallas, that is: KHLOE KARDASHIAN is getting her own radio show.

--She'll do whatever it is she's going to do from Noon to 1:00 P.M. every weekday on MIX 102.9 in Dallas. The show is called "The Mix Up with Khloe Kardashian Odom" . . . and it debuts on Monday.

--Sadly, it sounds like it's only going to last through the NBA season, while her husband LAMAR ODOM plays for the Dallas Mavericks. After that, they move back to L.A. Lamar was traded from the Lakers before the season began.

(--Khloe actually has radio experience. In 2009, she had a noontime show on Miami's Y100 . . . and she's had temporary gigs on 104.3 MYfm in Los Angeles.)

Is ZAC EFRON setting himself up to be a future TAYLOR SWIFT song lyric? "Us Weekly" says Zac and Taylor were spotted having dinner at an Italian restaurant in Los Angeles earlier this month.

--A source says, quote, "They were deep in conversation and very giggly."

--But another source says it was NOT a romantic hookup . . . quote, "They were in L.A. doing press stuff together, and after they were done, they decided to grab dinner. They have been friends a long time."

Ryan Seacrest Is Getting His Own Cable Network

RYAN SEACREST is launching his own cable network. It will be called AXS TV . . . pronounced "Access TV" . . . and it'll feature stuff like "behind-the-scenes coverage of concerts, red carpets and awards shows."

--AXS will be a revamp of HDNet . . . which is owned by Dallas Mavericks owner MARK CUBAN. Ryan will be working WITH Cuban to transform the network.

--AXS TV is expected to launch sometime this summer.

"American Idol" Premiere Ratings Were Down 18% from Last Season

The 11th season premiere of "American Idol" attracted 21.6 million viewers, which was down 18% from the 26.25 million that tuned in for last season's premiere.

--That's the biggest premiere ratings freefall . . . from season to season . . . in the show's history. It's also the lowest-rated season opener since "Idol's" first season premiere, which had 9.85 million viewers.

--Even if this is the beginning of the end, it's going to be a while before "Idol" falls low enough to be canceled. After all, "X Factor"averaged about half of the audience "Idol" had Wednesday night, and it's coming back for at least another year.

Sorry . . . There Aren't Going to be Kardashian Barbie Dolls After All

Tragic news to report this morning: Your young daughters will NOT get to play with KARDASHIAN Barbies . . . because they're not being made.

--We don't know if there WAS a deal in place and it got scrapped . . . or if the whole thing was bogus to begin with.

--But here's an official statement from Mattel . . . quote, "As popular as the Kardashian sisters are, at this point in time we are not manufacturing Barbie-branded Kardashian dolls."

If Marky Mark Wahlberg Was on One of those 9/11 Planes, He Would Have Whooped the Terrorists and Landed It Safely

MARKY MARK WAHLBERG was supposed to be on one of the planes that hit the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001 . . . but he ended up taking an earlier flight.

--And it's too bad. Because if he was on that plane, the only casualties would have been the terrorists. Yes, he really said THAT.

--Check out what Marky Mark told "Men's Journal" . . . quote, "If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn't have went down like it did.

--"There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we're going to land somewhere safely. Don't worry.'"

So-called "sources" tell "Us Weekly" that RIHANNA and CHRIS BROWN have been secretly hooking up for the past year.

--Supposedly, they meet up casually whenever she's in L.A. One of the sources says, quote, "They can't get enough of each other. I don't see it ending well.

--"Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that."

--February 8th will be the three-year anniversary of the vicious beating Chris delivered to Rihanna the night before the 2009 Grammys.

That "Sex and the City" prequel is finally coming . . . to the CW.

--They're developing a drama based on Candace Bushnell's "Sex and the City" prequel book series, "The Carrie Diaries".

Even the President Celebrated Betty White's Birthday

BETTY WHITE'S 90th birthday special "A Tribute to America's Golden Girl" aired last night on NBC. It featured Betty's "Hot in Cleveland" co-stars, plus MARY TYLER MOORE, CAROL BURNETT, AMY POEHLER, and others including a message from PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA.

--The president made a joke about wanting to see her birth certificate, because she looks too good to be 90.

Kid Rock Got Drunk at a Travis Tritt Concert and Lit Up a Cigar in Front of an Asthmatic Man

KID ROCK went to see TRAVIS TRITT in Michigan over the weekend.

--He threw back a few drinks, and lit up a cigar during the show. But like a lot of venues, this place was a NONSMOKING establishment, and Kid's smoke irritated a 58-year-old asthmatic man, who says he's filing a report with the health department.

--That man, Randy Snell, says, quote, "It's a violation of a state law, and people paid good money to come to a nonsmoking venue, but they were not treated to a nonsmoking venue. Special privileges were extended in disregarding the law."

RIHANNA was photographed smoking a funny-looking cigarette during a Hawaiian vacation on Sunday.

--And maybe it wasn't marijuana. But if it wasn't, then why did Rihanna then Tweet pot lyrics from the DRAKE song "Up All Night"?

--She said, quote, "Kush rolled, glass full . . . I prefer the better things." Kush, for those of you who don't know, is quality weed.

Ashton Kutcher's Twitter and Foursquare Accounts Were Hacked

ASHTON KUTCHER'S Twitter and Foursquare accounts were hacked recently.

--The hacker posted as Ashton, claiming that he was having his first sleepover with his new girlfriend . . . a screenwriter named LORENE SCAFARIA.

--The hacker also posted a Foursquare link pointing out Lorene's house on a map.

--Well, since the hacker went on Foursquare, Ashton says he now knows where the guy lives. He Tweeted, quote, "So apparently someone thinks they are clever hacking my account. #lame.

--"OK mr. hacker, you only made one mistake. You hacked my Foursquare and I now know your address. Whoops... This is gonna be fun."

--Then he posted the guy's supposed location and said, quote, "I'm coming for you my friend."

Ricky Gervais Enjoyed Hosting the "Golden Globes" This Year . . . But He Doesn't Want to Do It Again

RICKY GERVAIS has hosted the "Golden Globes" three straight times . . . and although he was not as controversial this year as he's been in the past, he says he enjoyed it MORE but he doesn’t want to do it again.

--Ricky wrote on his blog, quote, "I had a blast actually. It was by far my favorite of the three hosting stints."

--But he added, quote, "I've told my agent to never let me be persuaded to do it again though. It's like a parachute jump. You can only really enjoy it in retrospect when you realize you didn't die and it was quite an amazing thing to do."

--And on his performance, Ricky had this to say: Quote, "The crowd were great this year too. I think they finally worked out that my gags only seemed rude and nasty but were actually not too scary at all. Or they were just drunker."

--By the way, about 16.8 million people tuned in for the "Golden Globes". That was down slightly from the 17 million that watched last year's ceremony.

--NBC probably isn't splitting hairs though. This year's 16.8 million viewers was their biggest non-sports audience in that timeslot since last year's "Golden Globes".
