Jennifer Lopez Isn't Sure If She'll Be Back on "American Idol" Next Year

JENNIFER LOPEZ still hasn't decided if she wants to return for another season of "American Idol". On "Ellen" yesterday, she said, quote, "I really do enjoy it . . . now this is my second year . . . I don't know if I can go for a third year.

--"I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies being three, but now they're getting more mobile, they're about to go into school . . . so I just don't know."

The "America's Got Talent" Premiere Was Down in the Ratings, Despite Howard Stern

There was a lot of hype over HOWARD STERN'S debut on "America's Got Talent" Monday night. And for the most part, he delivered. But none of that translated into ratings.

--According to the early numbers, the two-hour premiere had 10.5 million viewers. That's down almost 5 MILLION from last year's premiere, which attracted 15.3 million viewers. It was also below last year's season average of 11.8 million viewers.

'Dancing With The Stars' Will Be An All Star Show This Fall

TOM BERGERON made a BIG announcement last night about. There will be an ALL STAR DWTS in the fall.

--They will bring back contestants from past seasons, including "former champions, finalists, fan favorites and some controversial celebrities."

--SPOILER: The finals next week will be between Katherine and Mark, William and Cheryl, and Donald and Peta, and will include the much-anticipated "freestyle dance."

Ryan Seacrest Bought Ellen and Portia's Old House . . . After They Bought Brad and Angelina's Old Place

RYAN SEACREST threw down $37 million to buy ELLEN DEGENERES and PORTIA DE ROSSI'S Beverly Hills mansion. It was originally on the market for $49 million.

--Ellen and Portia bought the place from one of the co-creators of "Will & Grace". It's where they got married . . . and Ryan was a guest at the wedding.

--Ellen and Portia sold it because they just paid $12 million to buy a beachfront spread in Malibu from BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE.

--Ryan's new digs are HUGE. The estate includes a 9,200 square foot main house, two guest houses and a separate, three-bedroom house.

Tom Cruise Will Never Have Plastic Surgery

TOM CRUISE is in AMAZING shape for a man who'll be 50 in July. And he's got the face of a man 20 years younger. So you might be surprised to know that none of the credit goes to plastic surgery.

--In an interview with "Playboy" magazine, Tom says he hasn't had surgery, and, quote, "I never would."

--Here's his secret . . . quote, "I'm always with family. I train, go without sleep. I just go hard."

--Elsewhere in the interview, Tom talks about NOT talking about Scientology. He says, quote, "If I don't talk about my religion, if I say I'm not discussing it or different humanitarian things I'm working on, they're like, 'He's avoiding it.'

--"If I do talk about it, it becomes, 'Oh, he's proselytizing.'"

--He also drops some LOVE BOMBS on his wife KATIE HOLMES. He says, quote, "She's an extraordinary person, and if you spent five minutes with her, you'd see it. Everything she does, she does with this beautiful creativity."

--He adds that she's, quote, "funny and charming, and when she walks into the room, I just feel better."

Robert Downey Jr. Could Make $50 Million Off "The Avengers" . . . While Everybody Else is Getting Just a Few Million

The "Hollywood Reporter" says ROBERT DOWNEY JR. COULD make $50 MILLION from "The Avengers".

--Why? Because after the first "Iron Man" was a hit, Downey's reps renegotiated his deal so that he gets a cut of the profits on any movie in which he plays the character.

--And none of the other Avengers are getting anything even close. Chris "Thor" Hemsworth, Chris "Captain America" Evans,Mark "Hulk" Ruffalo and Jeremy "Hawkeye" Renner only got between $2 million and $3 million.

--Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson got TWICE that, because they have deals to appear in several of the upcoming Marvel superhero movies.

Did Angelina Jolie Buy Brad Pitt a Helicopter?

The "New York Post" says that ANGELINA JOLIE shelled out $1.6 million on a helicopter and flying lessons for BRAD PITT.

--A source says, quote, "They've had a helicopter pad installed in the grounds of their south of France home, Chateau Miraval, so Ange thought it would be nice to buy Brad a helicopter as a surprise present."

--If this is a birthday present, it's a seriously early one. Brad's birthday isn't until December. Maybe it's an ENGAGEMENT gift?

RIHANNA may finally be ready to wash her hands of CHRIS BROWN, after she UNFOLLOWED him on Twitter yesterday.

--She dropped him almost immediately after he released a remix of the KANYE WEST track "Way Too Cold" . . . which contains a verse that sounds like it's aimed at her.

CONAN O'BRIEN will be a guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman" next Thursday. It'll be his first time on the show in 13 YEARS.

--Obviously, we can expect some jabs at JAY LENO . . . since both Conan and Letterman have lost gigs on "The Tonight Show" to Leno.

Aerosmith Is Performing on the "American Idol" Season Finale

AEROSMITH will debut their new single on the season finale of "American Idol", which airs on May 23rd. And JOE PERRY says it's happening FOR REAL this time.

--Last season, there was talk that Aerosmith would perform, but it didn't end up happening. (--Joe also appeared on "Idol" back in March to sing "Happy Birthday" to STEVEN TYLER.)

--The single should be out in about a month. There's no title for it yet.

Nicki Minaj Doesn't Think It's Her Problem That Her Young Fans Hear Her Vulgar Lyrics

NICKI MINAJ doesn't seem bothered by the fact that she has a lot of young fans . . . and yet her music contains EXPLICIT LANGUAGE.

--When she was asked about it on yesterday's "Ellen", she said, quote, "You know what, I don't really think I have to deal with it. I'm not their parents.

Blink-182 Canceled Some Shows Because Travis Barker Had an Emergency Tonsillectomy

BLINK-182 has canceled some shows because drummer TRAVIS BARKER had to undergo an emergency tonsillectomy.

--The shows that were scheduled for last night and tonight in Oklahoma have been rescheduled for September. Six other shows will NOT be rescheduled.

--Travis Tweeted, quote, "My throat still feels like I'm swallowing broken [effing] glass. Looking forward to this being over with . . . [it's] been a pain but green tea ice cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner is the jump off."

"The Avengers" Smashed the Record for Best Opening Weekend of All Time

Marvel's "The Avengers" kicked some serious tail at the box office this weekend. Since its midnight release on Thursday, the movie has made just over $200 MILLION. That's the best opening weekend for any film EVER.

--The previous record was set last year by "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2", which made $168.2 million in its first weekend. Yeah, "The Avengers" beat that by more than $30 million.

--"Deathly Hallows"still holds the record for best one-day haul, though: "The Avengers" made $80.5 million on Friday, which trailed the "Deathly Hallows" one-day total by about $10 million.

--"The Avengers" was the only new movie out this weekend, and all the other movies saw their takes cut in half. Here are this weekend's Top 10 movies anyway . . .

1.) (NEW) "The Avengers", $200 million.

2.) "Think Like a Man", $8 million. Up to $73 million in its 3rd week.

3.) "The Hunger Games", $5.7 million. Up to $381 million in its 7th week.

4.) "The Lucky One", $5.5 million. Up to $47.9 million in its 3rd week.

5.) "The Pirates! Band of Misfits", $5.4 million. Up to $18.6 million in its 2nd week.

Is Arnold Schwarzenegger Getting *Two* Shows on Oprah's Network?

What does OPRAH need to do to attract more viewers to her network? How about adding more shows starring ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER?

--Britain's "Daily Star" tabloid claims Oprah wants Arnold to bring in more male viewers by hosting TWO shows on her OWN network. There's no word if Arnold is interested . . . or if this "report" is even legit to begin with.

--The "Daily Star" says Arnold would host a show with celebrity guests, such as Sylvester Stallone, Vin Diesel and Jason Statham . . . and some sort of fitness, bodybuilding show.

--Supposedly, Oprah even went to Arnold's ex MARIA SHRIVER to make sure she would be cool with this. Fortunately, Maria gave her blessing . . . and said she thought this was a, quote, "blockbuster idea."

Apparently, MEGAN FOX doesn't mind if you ask her about her alleged pregnancy. But her publicist does.

--Former "X Factor" host STEVE JONES was interviewing Megan for "Entertainment Tonight" . . . and he was BANNED ahead of time from bringing up the subject.

--They were supposed to be talking about Megan's new gig pimping products for Sharper Image. And that's how the interview started.

--But Jones tried to sneak some pregnancy talk into the conversation by asking her, quote, "Do you know the ultimate gadget that every man wants? A baby."

--Megan actually seemed to get a kick out of it . . . especially because it was annoying her publicist, who was standing just off-camera.

--It even looked like she might have been okay talking about it, until the publicist jumped in and stopped the interview, saying, quote, "Stop. Stop. Sorry, no."

Adam Yauch, "MCA" of the Beastie Boys, Has Lost His Battle with Cancer

ADAM YAUCH . . . "MCA" of the BEASTIE BOYS . . . passed away on Friday morning, after a three-year battle with cancer. He was 47. In July of 2009, he revealed that he had a tumor in his salivary gland.

--Last year, there were reports that MCA's condition was improving . . . but in a message to fans, he said those reports were premature.

--He said, quote, "While I'm grateful for all the positive energy people are sending my way, reports of my being totally cancer-free are exaggerated. I'm continuing treatment, staying optimistic, and hoping to be cancer-free in the near future."

--MCA wasn't able to make the Beastie Boys' Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction last month . . . and in his absence, the group opted not to perform.

--MCA started the Beastie Boys with his friends Mike Diamond a.k.a. "Mike D" . . . and ADAM HOROWITZ a.k.a. "Ad-Rock" in 1979. Their most recent album, "Hot Sauce Committee, Part 2", was released last May.

--It's too soon to say how or if the Beastie Boys will continue. There's been no comment yet from Mike D or Ad-Rock. (--The Beastie Boys have sold over 40 million albums over the past 30 years.)

Goober Pyle from "The Andy Griffith Show" Is Dead

GEORGE LINDSEY . . . the man who played Goober Pyle on "The Andy Griffith Show" . . . died yesterday. He was 83. There's no cause of death yet, but he had a stroke in March, and had been in bad shape ever since.

--Goober was Gomer Pyle's cousin, and he worked at the gas station.

--After "The Andy Griffith Show" ended, George continued the role on the spin-off "Mayberry R.F.D.", and again on the syndicated show "Hee Haw". (--The cast of "Hee Haw" called him George, but he was basically in character as Goober.)

--Andy Griffith released a statement saying, quote, "[He] was my friend. I had great respect for his talent and his human spirit.

--"Our last conversation was a few days ago. We would talk about our health, how much we missed our friends who passed before us and usually about something funny.

--"I am happy to say that as we found ourselves in our 80s, we were not afraid to say, 'I love you.' That was the last thing George and I had to say to each other. 'I love you.'"

Rob Lowe Is Going to Star in the Casey Anthony TV Movie

ROB LOWE has been cast in Lifetime's upcoming TV movie based on CASEY ANTHONY. It's tentatively titled "Prosecuting Casey Anthony".

--Rob is playing Florida prosecutor Jeff Ashton. He wrote "Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony" . . . the book that the movie is based on. There's no airdate yet.

Are Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson Together Again?

Could LINDSAY LOHAN and SAMANTHA RONSON be giving love another shot? Witnesses saw them "cozying up" at a New York club called Le Baron on Tuesday night.

--A source says, quote, "Lindsay and Sam were whispering and laughing and they left the club holding hands. They didn't care who saw them, and they definitely seem to be back on.

--"It was just like the old days . . . they couldn't get enough of each other."

--However . . . Lindsay was out shopping on Wednesday night with Vikram Chatwal . . . the hotel billionaire she was seen making out with last year.

Michael Jackson's Estate Has Reached a Licensing Deal with Pepsi

MICHAEL JACKSON'S estate has reached a deal with Pepsi that allows Michael's image to be used in a new global marketing plan.

--The specifics will vary from country-to-country, but basically it includes: Special edition cans with Michael's image, TV ads, and remixed versions of Michael's songs, which will be available as digital downloads.

--Some critics are saying this is in poor taste as Pepsi may have been indirectly responsible for Michael's death.

--In 1984, Michael's hair caught fire while he was taping a Pepsi commercial. It was pretty serious, his scalp was burned . . . and some people say that injury triggered years of prescription drug abuse that ultimately killed him.

--The estate hasn't commented on that . . . they just released a statement saying, quote, "We're here to market the re-release of the'Bad' album and Pepsi is the most effective place to do it."

Mick Jagger Is Hosting the "Saturday Night Live" Season Finale

This is pretty cool: MICK JAGGER will host the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" on May 19th. He'll also be the musical guest.

--Mick has done "SNL" several times in the past. The ROLLING STONES served as the hosts and musical guest back in 1978. And that year, Mick performed on another episode with PETER TOSH.

--Mick was also the musical guest in 1993 and in 2001. (--Random note: Mick is turning 69 years old this summer. His birthday is July 26th.)

Kim Kardashian Explains Kanye West's Wardrobe Malfunction

Last Friday, KANYE WEST practically lost his pants while getting out of a car with KIM KARDASHIAN in New York City. Yesterday, Kim explained what happened.

--She said, quote, "He was getting out of the car and his belt got pulled by this hook on the car door and he was trying to pull it up quick and his belt was really heavy.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN explained to "People" why she and LAMAR ODOM put their reality show on hold. She said, quote, "I'm a modern girl, but you should put your husband first.

--She added, quote, "Lamar is up for the Olympics this summer, so right now we're training. He is training for the Olympics! I'm definitely his cheerleader.

JESSICA SIMPSON is already making her baby work for her. She's signed a $3 million deal to hype weight watchers while she loses her baby weight.

--That's not all she stands to make off little Maxwell Drew. Jessica will also probably add a bunch of baby- and mom-friendly products to her fashion empire . . . which already grosses up to A BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR. (???)

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney Have Broken Up

LADY GAGA and her boyfriend TAYLOR KINNEY have split up. Well, according to a source, they're, quote, "on a break."

Jessica Simpson Gave Birth to a 10-Pound Daughter Named Maxwell

JESSICA SIMPSON gave birth yesterday. She and fiancé ERIC JOHNSON now have a healthy . . . and heavy . . . baby girl.

--They named her Maxwell Drew Johnson, and she weighed in at a hefty 9 pounds, 13 ounces . . . which is just three ounces shy of 10 pounds.

--Eric and Jessica's parents, along with Jessica's sister ASHLEE, were spotted arriving at the hospital yesterday morning before the delivery.

--"Maxwell" is traditionally a boy's name . . . but it's a last name in Eric's family, and it's also his middle name. "Drew" is Jessica's mother's maiden name.

--Jessica announced the birth on her website, saying, quote, "Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson.

--"We are grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!!"

--There's still no word on a wedding date for Jessica and Eric. They've been engaged since November of 2010.

Jionni Won't Have Sex With Snooki Because She's Pregnant

The not-always-reliable "National Enquirer" says that SNOOKI is getting NO LOVE from her fiancé JIONNI LAVALLE because he doesn't like the way she looks pregnant.

--Unfortunately for Snooki, thanks to her hormones she needs it now more than ever.

--A "source" says, quote, "Joinni feels she's blown up like a beach ball. He thinks it's gotten to the point where they need to cool their jets until after the baby's born."

How Things Have Changed: Charlie Sheen Doesn't Want to Be Associated with a Strip Club

Here's an example of how much has changed in CHARLIE SHEEN'S life: Charlie threatened to sue a New York City strip joint called Cheetahs because they had a VIP room named after him.

--The room had pictures of Charlie on the wall, and for $250, patrons could eat sushi off a stripper's naked body. But because of Charlie's threat, they removed all references to him.

Ashton Kutcher Signed On for Another Season of "Two and a Half Men" . . . But He Isn't Getting as Much as People Thought

The "Hollywood Reporter" says ASHTON KUTCHER has signed on for another season of "Two and a Half Men" . . . but not for as much money as people thought he would get.

--There aren't any specific numbers, but he'll make "slightly more" than the $700,000 per episode that he's making this season. That's roughly $15 million for the whole year.

--The show's other stars, JON CRYER and ANGUS T. JONES, have agreed to return too, with "small raises" over their current salaries.

--According to reports, Jon is making $660,000 an episode this season . . . while Angus is pulling down $250,000 per episode. That's $14.4 million a year for Jon, and $6 million for Angus, who's just 18 years old.

--We heard that Ashton could get $1 million per episode, for TWO seasons. But the "Hollywood Reporter" says the cast was reluctant to commit beyond one more year. Especially Angus, who wants to go to college after the upcoming season.

Bobby Brown Says Whitney Houston's Death is Not His Fault

A lot of people blame BOBBY BROWN for WHITNEY HOUSTON'S death. They say he turned her onto drugs and made a mess of her life. But in a "Today" show interview that airs tomorrow and Thursday, Bobby says that's NOT TRUE.

--He tells MATT LAUER, quote, "I didn't get high before I met Whitney . . . I smoked weed, I drank the beer, but no, I wasn't the one that got Whitney on drugs at all . . . I'm not the reason she's gone."

(--When he says he didn't get high, he obviously means he didn't take HARD DRUGS, since he admits he'd smoked pot before she came along.)

--Bobby says the accusations make him feel "terrible" . . . but he adds, quote, "I know differently. I think if anyone ever knew us, if anybody ever spent time around us . . . they would know how we felt about each other. They would know how happy we were together."

--As for the chaos that went down on their reality show "Being Bobby Brown", he says it actually gave them a wake-up call . . . quote, "We [were] able to see that our drug use had affected our relationship, had affected the love that we felt for each other."

--Bobby says he's been off drugs for seven years, and didn't know that Whitney was still struggling. He saw her just a week before her death and he says, quote, "She had this glow about her that was just, you know, incredible.

--"She looked really well. She just looked like she was in a good place."

"Khloe & Lamar" Is "On Hold"

"Khloe & Lamar" is being put "on hold". KHLOE KARDASHIAN and husband LAMAR ODOM have pulled the plug on the show. But they're not necessarily ditching it altogether.

--Khloe's rep says its return will depend on Lamar's basketball schedule. And that's completely up in the air because he's a man without a team since he parted ways with the Dallas Mavericks last month.

--One source says Lamar plans to spend the entire NBA off-season training, and doesn't want E!'s cameras distracting him . . . and Khloe is totally standing by her man.

--Of course, there's a competing story that it was all Lamar's idea to end the show, and Khloe is FURIOUS.

--Even if the show doesn't come back anytime soon, we'll still see Khloe and Lamar on TV. "Us Weekly" says they'll continue to appear on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians". . . and Khloe may do another spin-off with one of her sisters.

Kevin Richardson Is Re-Joining the Backstreet Boys

KEVIN RICHARDSON is officially re-joining the BACKSTREET BOYS.

--The group made the announcement at a concert in London on Sunday night. They also announced that they're recording a new album this summer.

--Yesterday, Kevin Tweeted, quote, "Hello beau-ti-ful people. Yes, the cat is OFFICIALLY out of the bag. It's on and cracking!"

--Kevin left the group in 2006 to "pursue other interests." That wasn't a bad idea. He was 34 at the time . . . the oldest guy in the group . . . and at that point it's strange to still be in a boy band.

--Now, Kevin is 40 . . . and WAY too old to be doing the boy band thing. But Backstreet has been doing stuff with NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK, and most of them are in their early 40s, so maybe Kevin feels more comfortable with that.

--Or, he could use a little extra cash, who knows.

Kevin Jonas Will Star in an E! Reality Show with His Wife

The JONAS BROTHERS were the JUSTIN BIEBER of 2008 . . . and even though they're reuniting for another album, they're also apparently entering the reality show phase of their careers.

--KEVIN JONAS and his wife Danielle are getting their own show on E!. It's called "Married to Jonas" . . . and it will probably feature appearances from the rest of the Jonas family. It premieres August 19th.

--Here's a description of the show from E!: Quote, "After two years of newlywed bliss, Kevin and Dani are finally ready to settle down in their New Jersey home and establish a happy suburban life.

--"However, with the Jonas Brothers heading back to the studio to record new music, finding the right mix of 'normal' and superstardom isn't easy."

"The Hunger Games" and "Bridesmaids" Have Been Nominated for Eight "MTV Movie Awards"

Nominees for the MTV Movie Awards were announced last night. "The Hunger Games" and "Bridesmaids" tied for the most nominations, with eight each.

--They're both up for Movie of the Year, along with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2", "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and "The Help".

--"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2" and "21 Jump Street" were nominated for six "Golden Popcorn" awards each.

--There are FIVE new categories this year: Best Music, Best On-Screen Transformation, Best Gut-Wrenching Performance, Best Cast and Best On-Screen Dirtbag.

--The show airs live on June 3rd . . . on MTV, obviously. There's no host yet. Last year, they had JASON SUDEIKIS.

DJ Khaled's Tour Bus Blew Up . . . And He Says "This [Crap] Is Stressful"

DJ KHALED missed a gig on Sunday night . . . but he had a good excuse: His tour bus was ENGULFED IN FLAMES. Seriously.

--Khaled later posted a video blog, where he talked about the fire AS IT WAS HAPPENING. The fire looks pretty insane, and firefighters are working to get it under control. Fortunately no one was injured.

--There's no word on what caused the fire.

--Naturally, Khaled was a little rattled. In the video, he says he lost jewelry, clothing and "a lot of other valuables". He adds, quote, "Basically what I'm trying to tell you is, this [crap] is stressful."
