Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Got Married But Her Dad Wasn’t There
BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE pulled a fast one on the media and pretty much EVERYONE by getting married last Saturday in France. Their rep made the announcement yesterday.
It's amazing that they were able to keep it under wraps . . . especially considering how obsessed the media is with their status . . . so now everyone is playing catch-up. Here's what we know:
It happened at an estate Brad and Angelina own in Correns, France, which is probably the main reason they were able to keep it so secret. And it was a short "nondenominational civil ceremony conducted by a California judge."
There were only about 22 friends and family members there . . . although Angelina's father JON VOIGHT was NOT there. He gets to see the kids from time to time, but he's been trying to be a bigger part of Angelina's life. Clearly that's not working out.
He only found out yesterday after the news hit the Internet. He said, "It seems like it was very nice . . . and with all of the kids involved, it must have been a lot of fun and very beautiful. I'm happy for them."
He told a British tabloid that he's on his way to Europe to spend time with Angelina, Brad and the kids. As for missing the wedding, he chalked it up to a timing issue, since he had to be in the States for Monday's "Emmys".
Brad and Angelina read handwritten vows, and all six of their kids were involved in the ceremony. Angelina walked down the aisle with Maddox and Pax, Zahara and Vivienne threw flower petals, and Shiloh and Knox were the ring bearers.
Angelina wore a plain white floor-length antique lace and silk wedding dress with a veil . . . Brad wore a cream linen suit . . . the boys wore matching cream suits . . . and apparently the girls each had a dress made to match their individual style.
Brad and Angelina got engaged in 2012. This is Brad's second marriage, obviously. He married Jennifer Aniston in 2000, then dumped her in 2005 for Angelina.
This is Angelina's THIRD marriage. She was married to Jonny Lee Miller from "Elementary" from 1996 to 1999 . . . and then to Billy Bob Thornton from 2000 to 2003. So this is her first marriage to someone who only goes by two names.
It doesn't sound like they'll enjoy much of a honeymoon . . . apparently they've gone right to work on "By the Sea", the movie they're doing together in Malta.
Britney Spears is Single Again . . . Did She Catch Her Boyfriend Cheating?
BRITNEY SPEARSand her boyfriend David Lucado have broken up after a year and a half together. Last night, Britney Tweeted, quote, "Ahhhh the single life!"
Sources say Britney dumped David after a video surfaced showing him dancing and making out with another woman in somebody's living room. It was reportedly shot earlier this month.
David actually has a rep for some reason, and when he was contacted, he said, quote, "David is very, very in love with Britney. This is unfortunate and he hopes that it all works out."
As for Britney, a source says, quote, "She is heartbroken. But she will get through it. She's a strong girl and he was never right for her."
Joan Rivers is in Critical Condition After She Stopped Breathing During Surgery on Her Vocal Cords
JOAN RIVERS is in critical but stable condition at a New York City hospital after she stopped breathing during surgery on her vocal cords, and went into cardiac arrest.
It happened at an outpatient clinic while doctors were putting a scope down her throat. She was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital.
She was sedated at the time, and it's not clear what drugs were used. Now she's been placed in a medically-induced coma, and they're going to take her out of it this weekend to assess the damage.
Her daughter MELISSA issued a statement saying, quote, "I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming love and support for my mother. She is resting comfortably and is with our family. We ask that you continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers."
Joan had just performed in New York the night before, and witnesses say she didn't show signs of any health problems . . . although she did joke about her age.
She said, quote, "I'm 81 . . . I could go at any moment. I could fall over right here and you all could say, 'I was there!'"
Blake Lively Got Attacked by Bees the Day Before Her Birthday
BLAKE LIVELYturned 27 on Monday, and she celebrated by nursing MULTIPLE BEE STINGS. Blake got SWARMED during a photo shoot on Sunday, and wrote about it on her website.
She said, quote, "I felt an electric shock of energy . . . was it excitement that I was about to turn another year older? Was it nerves? Why did it feel like agony? [My butt] hurt like hell . . . then my neck, back, legs and forehead.
"And oh my hands! They were shriveling. It felt like I was being shot by dozens of tiny invisible darts. I felt like the Wicked Witch, melting, melting, burning, melting."
"Now, I was a Monty Python sketch; running at top speed in no particular direction, whipping my arms and hands around like I'd just discovered they were growing out of my shoulders without my previous knowledge . . .
"I was shaken. I was swollen. I had to stop what I was doing to recuperate and / or shrink."

Mathew Knowles Says the Beyonce / Jay Z Divorce Rumors Were a "Jedi Mind Trick" to Drum Up Interest in Their Tour
Divorce rumors have been dogging BEYONCÉ and JAY Z for months now . . . but maybe that's EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANTED.
In a radio interview yesterday, Beyoncé's dad MATHEW KNOWLES said they CREATED those rumors to drum up interest in their tour. And even Jay's elevator fight with SOLANGE was faked.
He said, quote, "I know [it was fake], because we've done this. From experience, there's a tour going on. So you sometimes have to ignite that tour. It's called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot."
"Everyone's talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200%."

QUEEN LATIFAH and her girlfriend Eboni want to have a baby, and they have reportedly picked out a pretty cool dude to father the child.
"In Touch" magazine claims they want LENNY KRAVITZ to impregnate either a surrogate or Eboni herself.
A source says, quote, "Queen Latifah simply loves Lenny. Not only is he handsome, but she likes his inner peace and what he stands for as a man."
Lenny hasn’t confirmed whether or not he’s interested.
Jennifer Aniston is Tired of Being Hounded About Having Kids
JENNIFER ANISTON might want to have kids someday but she definitely wants people to stop HOUNDING HER ABOUT IT.
Jen tells NBC that people pressure her to become a mother. "It's always such an issue of, 'Are you married yet? Do you have your babies yet?' It's constant. I don't know. I don't have this checklist of things that have to be done and if they're not checked I've failed some part of my feminism or being a woman or my value as a woman because I haven't birthed a child. I've birthed a lot of things and I feel I've mothered many things. I don't think it's fair to put that pressure on people."
So there. Leave Jen alone.

The New York coffee house will feature actual furniture from the show, including the orange sofa. A Central Perk blend will also be offered between September 17th and October 18th.

Miley Cyrus Had a Homeless Guy Accept Her "VMA" Award Because of the Backlash She Got Last Year
MILEY CYRUS had a young homeless dude named Jesse accept her Video of the Year award at the "MTV Video Music Awards" on Sunday . . . at least partially because of the backlash she got after her performance with ROBIN THICKE at last year's show.
In a radio interview yesterday, Miley said, quote, "I just didn't realize my platform, I didn't realize my power. I really realized it after the'VMAs' [last year] . . . no matter what I do, there's no winning or losing, it's just going to be talked about.
"So what do I want them to talk about? . . . Because I don't think what I was trying to say is what happened the year before. The reason it was so important at the 'VMAs' is because it’s for young people.
"Jesse is my same age and that's what this show is for. I think people need to see this . . . at least, I know I did after last year . . . to remember what matters."
Emmy Highlights and Memorable Moments
"Breaking Bad" went out in style last night, capturing six Emmys for its final season . . . but that wasn't enough to go out with the MOST Emmys of the night. That honor went to"Sherlock". I was surprised and super excited about this. I thought that it was just me, my husband and few other friends who we demanded watch this show that even knew about it!
"Sherlock: His Last Vow", snagged seven Emmys, including Best Actor in a Miniseries or Movie for BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH. MARTIN FREEMAN, also snagged the Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or Movie and Steven Moffat, for Best Writing for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Dramatic Special. And JULIANNA MARGULIES won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for "The Good Wife". She also won it in 2010.
GWEN STEFANIannounced a win for "The Colbert Report" as the Best Variety, Music, or Comedy Series. But she mispronounced it "The Col-BOAR Report". But it was nowhere near as bad as John Travolta's "Adele Dazeem" Oscar moment.

Jennifer Lopez Got Skittles from Casper Smart at the "VMAs"
JENNIFER LOPEZand CASPER SMART both attended the "VMAs" Sunday night, but the official word is they weren't together. Casper was supposedly there to support NICKI MINAJ, because he did some choreography for her.
But Casper WAS seated right in front of J-Lo, and at one point he even turned around to pour some SKITTLES into her hand. Sharing Skittles is a pretty big deal. That might point to a reconcilation.
The Highest-Paid Male TV Actors
"Forbes" has put together their annual list of "The Highest-Paid Male TV Actors" . . . and for the THIRD year in a row, "Two and a Half Men" star ASHTON KUTCHER is #1. He's raking in $26 million over the past year.
His co-star JON CRYER is second with $19 million . . . along with "NCIS" star MARK HARMON who made the same amount. Interestingly enough, nine of the Top 15 actors are or were on CBS shows.
Here's the complete Top 15:
1. Ashton Kutcher, "Two and a Half Men", $26 million
2. A tie between Jon Cryer of "Two and a Half Men" and Mark Harmon of "NCIS", with $19 million each.
4. Neil Patrick Harris, "How I Met Your Mother", $18 million
5. A tie between Patrick Dempsey of "Grey's Anatomy" and Kevin Spacey of Netflix's "House of Cards", with $16 million each.
7. Tim Allen, "Last Man Standing", $15 million
8. Simon Baker, "The Mentalist", $13 million
9. Jim Parsons, "The Big Bang Theory", $12 million
10. A tie between Jason Segel from "How I Met Your Mother" and Johnny Galecki of "The Big Bang Theory", with $11 million each.
12. A THREE-WAY tie between Jon Hamm of "Mad Men", Charlie Sheen of "Anger Management", and Josh Radnor of "How I Met Your Mother", with $10 million apiece.
15. Bryan Cranston, "Breaking Bad", $8 million
The numbers were taken from June of last year up through this past June . . . so the big salary bumps for the "Big Bang Theory" stars were NOT included, which is why they're kind of low on the list. Next year will be a different story.
As usual, not ALL of this money came from the actors' TV salaries. It includes movie roles and endorsement deals as well. So, Tim Allen's Vegas stand-up money is also a part of his overall take.
"The Walking Dead" and the Third Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore Romantic Comedy Are Out on DVD

The MTV VMAs . . . Highlights and Memorable Moments
For the second straight year, MILEY CYRUS tried to steal the show at the MTV Video Music Awards. But it was for a VERY different reason this time.
Miley's "Wrecking Ball" won Video of the Year, but instead of taking the stage, she sent up a young guy named Jesse, who revealed that he's HOMELESS.
He accepted the award for the, quote, "1.6 million runaways and homeless youth in the United States who are starving, lost and scared for their lives right now."
He also directed people to Miley's Facebook page, where she's asking people to donate to My Friend's Place, a homeless center for young people in Hollywood.
Meanwhile, on the total opposite end of the social consciousness spectrum, we have the Kardashians. Specifically, KIM KARDASHIAN and KENDALL and KYLIE JENNER . . .
Who appeared to be TEXTING while COMMON was talking about Ferguson, Missouri and asking for a moment of silence.
Other than that, the show was pretty unremarkable. A lot of people thought NICKI MINAJ was going to bring the raunch when she did"Anaconda", but aside from a little twerking, it wasn't that bad. Especially compared to Miley's antics last year.
Nicki did have a wardrobe malfunction when she did a quick change and came back out to do her verse on "Bang Bang" with JESSIE J and ARIANA GRANDE.
For some reason, the front of her outfit wouldn't stay closed, so she had to hold it together with her hands.
BEYONCÉ closed the show by accepting the Video Vanguard Award. And she accepted it from JAY Z, who took the stage with their daughter BLUE IVY after Beyoncé did a 16-minute medley of songs from her latest album.
In a "we're-so-not-getting-divorced" show of support, Jay even called his wife, quote, "the greatest living entertainer."
Beyoncé also won Best Video with a Social Message for "Pretty Hurts", and Best Collaboration for "Drunk in Love" with her husband Jay-Z. But those weren't announced during the broadcast.
Here are the rest of the big winners:
Video of the Year: Miley Cyrus, "Wrecking Ball"
Best Male Video: Ed Sheeran, "Sing"
Best Female Video: Katy Perry, "Dark Horse"
Best Hip-Hop Video: Drake, "Hold On (We're Going Home)"
Best Pop Video: Ariana Grande, "Problem"
Artist to Watch: Fifth Harmony, "Miss Movin' On"
Best Rock Video: Lorde, "Royals"
Best 'Lyric Video': 5 Seconds of Summer, "Don't Stop"
The Emmy Awards Will Be Handed Out Tonight
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by SETH MEYERS, will air NBC tonight at 8 p.m. ET. A highlight to tune in for: Veteran Emmy producer Don Mischer is planning a heartfelt but "fun" tribute to Robin Williams, led by pal Billy Crystal, as part of the awards show's traditional In Memoriam segment late in the broadcast.
Shia LaBeouf Calls 911 on a Stalker . . . While She's Standing Right There
SHIA LABEOUFcalled 911 to report a stalker at his house . . . while said stalker was RIGHT THERE. The woman was at Shia's door, so close to him that he even had interrupt the call to say, "Don't touch me!"
The woman, 31-year-old Graciela Nahle, has been bugging Shia for a while. She was arrested and pleaded no contest to trespassing. She was sentenced to 45 days in jail, but was released after just four.
Gwyneth Paltrow is "Very Happy" for Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence
GWYNETH PALTROWisn't bitter or jealous that CHRIS MARTIN has hooked up with JENNIFER LAWRENCE.
A so-called "source" says, quote, "She's very happy for Chris, that he has moved on and found someone else. Their split has been remarkably amiable and they both just want the best for one another."
Besides, Gwyneth has moved on herself. She's reportedly nailing "Glee" co-creator BRAD FALCHUK.
"Sin City" Bombed . . . and "Guardians of the Galaxy" Took Back the #1 Spot
None of new movies made significant waves at the box office this weekend. The best was that out-of-body teen drama "If I Stay", which made $16.4 million in 3rd place.
The "Sin City" sequel bombed HARD, bringing in just $6.5 million in 8th place. The original opened to nearly $30 million in 2005.
"Guardians of the Galaxy" reclaimed the #1 spot from "Ninja Turtles", though there was less than a million dollars separating the two. Here are this week's Top 5 movies:
1. "Guardians of the Galaxy", $17.6 million. Up to $252 million in its 4th week.
2. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", $16.8 million. Up to $146 million in its 3rd week.
3. NEW: "If I Stay", $16.4 million.
4. "Let's Be Cops", $11 million. Up to $45.2 million in its 2nd week.
Nick Cannon Confirms That He and Mariah Carey are Separated
NICK CANNON admitted yesterday that he and MARIAH CAREY are separated. He said, quote, "There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate houses for a few months."
He didn't say WHY they split. He just added, quote, "My main focus is my kids." Mariah's rep refused to comment, saying her focus is, quote, "on her children and her upcoming tour."
There's still plenty of speculation, of course. One source claims the beginning of the end came when Nick admitted on a radio show that he had once hooked up with KIM KARDASHIAN. Mariah did NOT appreciate him making that public . . . and she got even MORE upset when Nick revealed that she didn't give it up to him until they were married.
She also hates that he takes every gig that comes his way, even though they don't need the money. Sources say he likes to work so people won't think he's living off Mariah's money. And that Nick is reportedly fed up with Mariah's, quote, "diva antics."
Meanwhile . . . Nick took the Ice Bucket Challenge in nothing but a towel. And it reminded us of the ENORMOUS "Mariah" tattoo he has across his back. It's gonna suck getting that lasered off.
Jennifer Aniston Says She Stays Home to Avoid Being "Bullied on the Internet"
JENNIFER ANISTON doesn't want to be chased down by the paparazzi and ridiculed online for something she says or does . . . so to avoid that, she and her fiancé JUSTIN THEROUX stay holed-up in their house.
She tells Britain's "Express" newspaper, quote, "You do the best you can, but it feels like it's getting worse and very nasty because of bullying on the Internet. Even movie critics don't just comment on the film, they tear people apart on a human level.
"I don't know why that is happening but it is . . . [so] we just stay home so there really isn't anything to report.
Pamela Anderson Won't Do the Ice Bucket Challenge . . . Because She Says the ALS Association Does Animal Testing
If you've dared PAMELA ANDERSON to take the Ice Bucket Challenge, I have bad news for you: She's not doing it. And it's because she claims the ALS Association supports ANIMAL TESTING.
In a note on her Facebook page she said, quote, "Sorry, I can't bring myself to do your Ice bucket challenge . . . I thought instead I'd challenge ALS to stop animal testing.
"Recent experiments funded by the ALS Association, mice had holes drilled into their skulls, were inflicted with crippling illnesses, and were forced to run on an inclined treadmill until they collapsed from exhaustion.
"Monkeys had chemicals injected into their brains and backs and were later killed and dissected."
Then she listed statistics that supposedly prove animal testing really doesn't work, and urged fans to, quote, "find and support charities that never harm animals and which pour their time and resources into advanced, promising, human-relevant cures."
Meanwhile, PINK'S husband CAREY HART also refused to take the challenge, but not really on moral grounds. He donated to ALS instead. But he did call out the whole concept.
He Tweeted, quote, "It's extremely creepy and annoying how obsessed people are with this ice bucket challenge. The purposes is to raise money for an awful disease.
"If you are that into seeing people dump buckets of ice water over their heads, go find a wet t shirt contest. Time to find a hobby, people."

A New Survey Says Carrie Underwood Is the Best Female Role Model in Music, and Pharrell Is the "Chillest Man"
A recent survey asked people who's the "best female role model in music" . . . and as you’d expect, Miley Cyrus was NOT #1.
Instead, Carrie Underwood led the way with 36% of the vote. Taylor Swift was next at 17.2%, followed by: Adele (14%), Alicia Keys (10.8%), Beyoncé (10.6%), Katy Perry (8.5%) and Lorde (3.1%).

MARIAH CAREY and NICK CANNON may be heading in the divorce direction.
The "New York Post" claims Nick is currently living out of HOTELS because they're fighting all the time. One of their issues is that Mariah doesn't TRUST him.
Sources say she has suspected him of cheating in the past, and when he hosted a series of pool parties in Vegas earlier this year, she sent a security guard with him to KEEP THE LADIES AWAY.
Another source says Nick is fed up with Mariah's, quote, "diva demands", and can't stand her anymore . . . quote, "Nick loathes that Mariah treats him like her servant. She gives him a chore list and barks orders at him."
The source says Nick is waiting for Mariah to file for divorce, and when she does, he's going to gun for a chunk of her estimated $500 million fortune.
Nick and Mariah have 3-year-old twins named Moroccan and Monroe. She's 44, he's 33.

MEG RYANand JOHN MELLENCAMP have broken up, after three years together. A sourse says, quote, "It was the distance. She lives in New York and he resides in Indiana. It was the long distance that ultimately was the cause."
Mellencamp recently told "Rolling Stone" he was too "sensitive" to live in New York . . . quote, "I can't see poor people. I can't see the suffering. I can't see the trash on the streets . . . I'm not leaving Indiana. I'm going to die here."
Is Gwyneth Paltrow Counseling Beyonce Through Her "Split" with Jay Z?
We still don't know if rumors of a BEYONCÉ / JAY Z split are true, but if they are, then there's no reason THIS can't be true as well . . .
"Us Weekly" says Beyoncé is getting advice on how to CONSCIOUSLY UNCOUPLE by the woman who started it all, GWYNETH PALTROW. Because she wants her breakup to appear as amicable as Gwyneth's split from CHRIS MARTIN.
A source says, quote, "The day after the announcement, Bey and Jay will be spotted together. The two will be all lovey-dovey."
Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez Broke Up After a Huge Fight
ZAC EFRON and MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ are through . . . supposedly after having a big fight in Ibiza, Spain.

Zac reportedly still wants to be with Michelle, and hasn't given up on her.
Is Whoopi Goldberg So Fed Up with "The View" That She Wants to Quit?
The "National Enquirer" claims WHOOPI GOLDBERG is so fed-up with "The View" that she WANTS OUT.
Sources say Whoopi just signed a four-year contract extension to remain on the show . . . but she's frustrated with all the recent changes. Supposedly, she's quote, "sick of all the drama."
One unnamed person says, quote, "[She] regrets roping herself in like that, and is trying to figure a way out." Whoopi hasn't commented.

The NFL Wants Musical Acts to Pay for the Privilege of Performing at the Super Bowl?
The NFL doesn't pay musical acts to perform on the Super Bowl halftime show . . . and now, they're reportedly trying to get musicians to pay THEM for the PRIVILEGE of taking the stage.
The "Wall Street Journal" says the league has narrowed their wish list for this year's game down to three acts: RIHANNA, KATY PERRY, and COLDPLAY.
According to sources, league reps have been checking around to see if anyone would PAY to play . . . and naturally, the people they've talked to have NOT been super receptive to that.
The NFL hasn't commented directly. A spokeswoman merely said their contracts with performers were confidential, and that their only goal was to, quote, "put on the best possible show."
The Super Bowl halftime show has become a prestige gig, but it's hard to believe anyone would pay the NFL to do it.
It's also hard to believe the NFL is apparently IGNORING THE PEOPLE . . . who obviously want to see WEIRD AL YANKOVICget the gig. As of last night, the petition to see Weird Al perform was up to 126,000 supporters.
Casey Kasem’s Family Says He Did NOT Want to be Buried in Norway
The NY Post claims Jean Kasem wants to bury Casey in Oslo because of her Norwegian roots. RADAR Online claims Casey's family wrote a letter to Norway that read:
“We just wanted to set the record straight, regarding our father Casey Kasem. As beautiful as your country is, our father has never spoken of any desire to be buried in Norway either to us or to his friends. In fact, it was the opposite. The family is asking the country to decline Jean’s request.

He explained, quote, "Because, let's face it, ice is going to melt, but this money is going to actually help people."
Then Charlie called out his "Two and a Half Men" buddies . . . Jon Cryer, Ashton Kutcher, and the show's creator Chuck Lorre . . . challenging them to, quote, "identically do what I just did."

"Saturday Night Live" Announcer Don Pardo Has Died
Legendary "Saturday Night Live" announcer DON PARDO died last night at his home in Tuscon, Arizona. He was 96. No other details of his death were released.
Pardo was with "SNL" from its debut in 1975. But he was already a 31-year veteran at NBC by then. He was also the announcer on the original versions of the game shows "Jeopardy!" and "The Price Is Right".
And he was one of the first people to inform America that PRESIDENT KENNEDY had been shot on November 22nd, 1963.
Pardo was replaced on "SNL" during the 1981 - '82 season, but only missed a handful of other shows due to illness. In 2004 he was given a lifetime contract with NBC. Apparently, he and BOB HOPE were the only two people with that honor.
Don's first name was actually Dominic. But when he got into radio and started going by "Dom" everyone messed it up and called him "Don" instead . . . so he said, "The heck with it; I'll be Don."
Don's wife passed away in 1995, but he's survived by three daughters, two sons, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

But he did have one important piece of advice . . . quote, "You gotta kinda put it on the side to make it look a little not-as-nerdy, but still . . . I got so much gear in here that I don't want in my pockets, I'm not afraid of the fanny pack."
He added, quote, "They'll come back, they're on the way back. Some decade from now."

She says, quote, "I want to put a lot of photos and cool stuff, it will probably be like a trilogy, like 'Harry Potter' because there's so many."
Lindsay probably WON'T spend much time on that SEX LIST that leaked earlier this year.
She says, quote, "I would never write to violate someone else or objectify them, that's not my intention. I like to write because it's like therapy for me."
Lindsay says she wants her story to be an inspiration to young people who are going through troubles of their own . . . quote, "There's the excitement of the life that I have lived but I've seen a lot and if I can help anyone that might feel like its ok to screw up, it's OK to feel lonely, or ugly or to feel overweight or underweight."

Here are some of the comments he got . . . "Justin, you know better." . . . "Bruh. You went too deep." . . . and "I knew Justin Timberlake was getting too close for comfort with black culture but now he is saying ninja."
A lot of posts mentioned the racial tensions in Ferguson, Missouri . . . like this one, quote, "Justin Timberlake chose *this* week to call Madonna 'my ninja'? I just can't."
On a lighter note, an 8-year-old autistic boy named Julian wanted nothing more than to see Justin in concert. But he DID get more. He got Justin leading the entire arena in singing"Happy Birthday" to him.

Actor ROB SCHNEIDER thinks prescription medication may have led to ROBIN WILLIAMS' suicide. He Tweeted, quote, "Now that we can talk about it #RobinWilliams was on a drug treating the symptoms of Parkinson's. One of the side effects is suicide."
We don't know what drugs Robin was or wasn't taking for Parkinson's. We don't know how Rob Schneider knows, either.
But a so-called "source" close to Robin had this to add . . . quote, "A lot of Robin’s friends are convinced that the cocktail of prescription pills he was on somehow contributed to his mental state deteriorating as quickly as it did.
"Robin had always suffered from depression and addiction but the diagnosis and treatment of his Parkinson's was new, as was the combination of drugs he was on."
Some entertainers will tell you that their education was a waste of time . . . but KATY PERRY isn't one of them. She's basically admitting that she isn't as intelligent as she'd like to be.
She tells Yahoo, quote, "I'm kind of bummed at this stage that I didn't have a great education because I could really use that these days."
Katy dropped out of high school during her freshman year . . . and before that, she went from school to school, because her parents were pastors and were always on the move. On top of that, she wasn't always getting the best instruction.
She says, quote, "I was being pulled out of school, even in the middle of school . . . and sometimes being home-schooled. Sometimes we were sent to these really half-Christian, half-education, I-don't-know-what-they-were schools."
So, she's trying to learn as much as she can as an adult. She says, quote, "I've learned to educate myself at this stage and how to continue my education at any age. I'm going on 30 and I'm still very thirsty for information."
Robin Williams Had Parkinson's Disease
ROBIN WILLIAMS was suffering from Parkinson's disease when he died earlier this week.
His wife Susan issued a statement saying, quote, "Robin's sobriety was intact and he was brave as he struggled with his own battles of depression, anxiety as well as early stages of Parkinson's Disease, which he was not yet ready to share publicly.
"It is our hope in the wake of Robin's tragic passing, that others will find the strength to seek the care and support they need to treat whatever battles they are facing so they may feel less afraid."
Parkinson's is a progressive disorder of the nervous system. MICHAEL J. FOX was diagnosed with it in 1991.
After he heard yesterday's news, Fox Tweeted, quote, "Stunned to learn Robin had PD. Pretty sure his support for our [charitable foundation] predated his diagnosis. A true friend; I wish him peace."
People Everywhere Are Celebrating "Shark Week" By Eating Sharks Into Extinction
How are people celebrating Shark Week . . . aside from actually watching shark-related programming on the Discovery Channel? Well, apparently a lot of people are participating by EATING SHARKS INTO EXTINCTION.
Or so says the Internet.
Restaurants are trying to sell as much shark meat as possible, and people are eating it like crazy. A shark conservation expert says this is NOT good. Quote, "It's opportunistic. [Restaurants] are using the celebrity of 'sharkism' to sell more tacos than they normally would."
The most commonly-eaten shark in the U.S. is the Shortfin Mako, a species that's listed as "Vulnerable." That's a step above "Endangered" . . . and puts them on par with polar bears.
A sarcastic shark activist jokes, quote, "But you wouldn't want to eat polar bear tacos."

Antonio Banderas adds comic relief as a commando who's always desperately wanted to join the team. And Mel Gibson is Stallone's old partner . . . he cofounded the Expendables, but turned bad and became an arms dealer with a vendetta against him.
In order to deal with the new threat, Stallone recruits some young, fresh blood . . . including Kellan Lutz, MMA badass Ronda Rousey, and boxer Victor Ortiz.
And finally there's Kelsey Grammer as an old friend of Stallone's who helps recruit the new members . . . and Harrison Ford as the CIA handler behind their assignments.
