Ariana Grande kicked off her Sweetener Tour earlier this month. Not only will she have booths at the concerts to sell her merchandise; she will also have booths dedicated to helping her fans get registered to vote. It’s a movement called #thankunextgen and she has partnered with HeadCount to promote the cause. In the past, artists like Chance the Rapper, Kesha, and Jay-Z have done similar campaigns to this when they teamed up with Headcount.
According to CheatSheet, around 51 million Americans are not registered to vote despite being eligible.
So far, the singer is receiving high praise from her fans for her encouragement to participate in our democracy.
