This is not an April Fool’s joke…at least Cheesecake Factory says it’s not. On April 1 the best restaurant (fight me) in the world is giving 10,000 people $25 to spend as they please.
The promotion is going through DoorDash and goes live at 4 PM today. All you have to do is sign into the app, hit the Offers page and hit the Claim Free Food button. The first 10k people to do that will get the money loaded into their account and can use it all week.
Now, CCF has worked with DoorDash before to offer 10,000 people free slices of cheesecake and it was a mess. I got the slice, but it took THREE HOURS and the poor Dashers had to wait in insane lines. Of course this one doesn’t have delivery attached to today (unless you win and order) so it shouldn’t be bad in that regard.
But, I fully expect the app to crash and check out to crash, so you know, be ready to be disappointed.
