Yikes! Looks like a LOT of people got herpes at Coachella this year.

HerpAlert, a website dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of herpes, has seen a spike in people in need of prescriptions that coincides with the Coachella festival. TMZ says HerpAlert usually covers about 12 cases per day.

According to TMZ:

“A whopping 1,105 cases have been reported in Indio, Palm Desert and Coachella Valley — and also L.A., Orange and San Diego counties where most of the concertgoers live.”

This all happened since the first day of the mega music fest…. This probably isn’t what people were thinking when it comes to going viral.
