According to CBS4Indy, Indianapolis Animal Care Services is out of room. The facility houses 900 animals with dozens coming in each day. As an open-intake shelter, IACS does not turn away animal when they are surrendered. Because they are bursting at the seams, they are offering FREE adoptions from 6/9 to 6/22 in hopes of freeing up some space in the shelter.
All free adoptions will include microchip, spay/neuter, vaccinations and heart worm testing. If you aren’t looking to permanently adopt, you can also foster a fur baby.
