Hailee Steinfeld has been hinting at new music for weeks now and the day has finally come!!
Her new project, titled Half Written Story, includes five tracks: ‘I Love You’s,’ ‘Your Name Hurts,’ ‘End This (L.O.V.E.),’ ‘Man Up,’ and her latest hit, ‘Wrong Direction.’
Hailee spoke with MTV about the new EP and explained why it’s titled Half Written Story. “There’s a few reasons. One, it’s part one of a two part project. Second, there a track on project called ‘Your Name Hurts’ and the first line in the song is ‘we’re a half written story / without any ending / you left me to figure it out.’ That line is one of my favorite lyrics on the project. When something just sort of ends without coming to a proper ending, you feel like there’s a part of you missing.”
She also confirmed that the second part of this project will be out this summer!!
