“Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler is doing a show for Disney+ about Wakanda.  There’s no word on the details yet, but it’s part of a new five-year deal that’ll also see him working on other Marvel shows.

Coogler says, “Working with [Disney] on ‘Black Panther’ was a dream come true . . . We look forward to learning, growing, and building a relationship with audiences all over the world through the Disney platforms. We’re already in the mix on some projects that we can’t wait to share.”

The “Black Panther” sequel is still a go by the way. It should be out July 8, 2022.
