Demi Lovato had a pretty big year in 2020. From getting engaged (and then breaking it off), to releasing new music, to coming out as queer, she was just trying to live her life. This year, she wants to tell her story….the full story.

Today (2/17) Demi Tweeted at YouTube asking if they “wanna share a little something from #DemiDWTD today?” YouTube replied back “See you at 12pm PST.”

What was the big announcement? Demi teamed up with YouTube Originals to release a 4 part documentary series coming to computer screens near you March 23. In the series, Demi goes in deep, and I mean DEEP, about what happened to her the night she overdosed and almost died. Not only is Demi speaking out, but her friends and family make appearances too. In one clip her stepdad says “Demi’s really good at making you believe she’s ok.” The trailer ends with a quote from Demi saying “I’ve had a lot of lives, like a cat. I’m on my 9th life. I’m ready to get back to doing what I love, which is making music.”

Speaking of new music, you can hear parts of her hopefully soon-to-be-released track, “Dancing with the Devil” in the trailer! Watch it below!
