Need Some Good News?

1. Muslims in Spain haven’t been able to hold indoor services for Ramadan because of the virus. So a Catholic church in Barcelona is letting them use its open-air courtyard.

2. A nasty wreck on a bridge in Ocean City, Maryland sent eight people to the hospital on Sunday. And a two-year-old in a car seat got thrown into the water. But a random guy jumped a guardrail into the bay and saved her life. We don’t know his name, because he wants to remain anonymous.

3. There’s a fifth-grader in Texas named Elli Van Bree with a brother named Willem who’s autistic. And she was worried about him staring school this year. So she made a video for his classmates to let them know how great he is even though he’s different.

4. In case you missed this: A 24-year-old guy named Philip Vu quit his bank job a while back to live out of his car and travel. And along the way, he made friends with a homeless guy named Mike in New Haven, Connecticut.

Philip thought he was so interesting, he started posting videos of their conversations online, and they went viral. Then people reached out to ask how they could help Mike . . . and ended up donating $17,000.

There’s a video of him getting an envelope with the first thousand. And when he sees the money, he breaks down in tears.
