Could “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” Drop Soon?

Ever since Taylor Swift has announced her re-recordings, fans have been trying to crack codes, spot easter eggs, and nail down which one she’ll release next.

First was her wildly popular Fearless (Taylor’s Version) which included the original tracklist and a few vault songs like “Mr. Perfectly Fine.” Since then Taylor revealed that most of her re-recordings are done, she just has to release them. Fans have been going back and forth on whether or not she’ll release Red (Taylor’s Version) next, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), or all of them at once.

Swift dropped, what I think to be, a big hint today on which album is coming next.

Taylor Nation tweeted a video with new merch that all has “1989” printed on it with the caption “We don’t know anything, but we know The “Just A Summer Thing” Collection just dropped and we want it all!” Ummmmm I think they do know something.

Yes, the title of the collection is ” just a summer thing” which is a line from her song “betty.” Yes, she used a photo of her from the folklore era in some of the merch. Yes, the tattoo lyrics are from songs on folklore BUT that color scheme has 1989 written all over it. Twitter had lots to say!

Here’s my personal fav for all my Midwest peeps:
