The executive producer of “Stranger Things”, Shawn Levy, revealed in an interview that the end for the series is “in sight.”

He didn’t say when exactly, but Season Four is done and hasn’t been mentioned as a final season. There’s no word when Season Four will hit Netflix, but Shawn said we can expect an announcement soon.

There’s also a possibility the “Stranger Things” universe could continue to live on since it’s such a huge property for Netflix. Shawn said “What’s been made clear is there is an interest and a real voracious appetite for any offshoot of the franchise, the characters, the mythology . . . certainly those conversations are hardly evolved, but they’re also not non-existent.”

I wouldn’t call that a done deal for a spin-off, but hope is hope.
