New Music from Adele, Coldplay, Young Thug, and Finneas

First things first, ADELE dropped her first new track in six years, and it’s everything you want in an Adele track. We’ll have it every hour at the top of the hour this weekend, but if you’re like me and need it on constant repeat, you can find it here.

Second things second, a lot of albums dropped today. Here’s what we’ve got.

• Music of the SpheresColdplay.  This is their ninth album.  Their guests include BTS and Selena Gomez.  At their album release event in London last Tuesday, Ed Sheeran joined the band to perform “Fix You” together.

• The Atlas Underground FireTom Morello.  This is his second collaborative solo album.  He is the guitarist from Rage Against the Machine.  His guests are Bruce SpringsteenEddie VedderPhantogram, and Bring Me the Horizon.

• Blessings and MiraclesSantana.  This is their 26th album.  Their guests are Rob ThomasSteve WinwoodG-Eazy, and Chris Stapleton.  Carlos Santana said, quote, “The title of this album comes from my belief that we’re born with heavenly powers that allows us to create blessings and miracles.”

• PunkYoung Thug.  This is his second album.  He destroyed a Rolls-Royce to promote it.  His guests include FutureDrakeJay-Z, and Mac Miller.

• When Christmas Comes Around…Kelly Clarkson.  This is her second holiday album . . . her first came out in 2013.  Her guests are Ariana GrandeChris Stapleton, and Brett Eldredge.

• I Dream of ChristmasNorah Jones.  This is her first holiday album.  It includes originals and also covers of holiday classics like “White Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland”.

• OptimistFinneas.  This is his debut album.  He is the producer and brother of Billie Eilish.  He said he took a “romantic but doomed” approach with the songwriting.

• Five Legged DogMelvins.  This is a 36-song album with acoustic renditions of songs throughout the band’s career.

• Songs for You EPBen Barnes.  This is his debut EP.  He is the actor from “Shadow and Bone” and “The Chronicles of Narnia”

• Peso in My PocketToby Keith.  It’s his 19th album, and first new album in six years.  Blues singer Keb’ Mo’ joins him on a cover of “Old Me Better”.

• The ComebackZac Brown Band.  This is their 7th album.

• ThriveCassadee Pope.  This is her 4th album.

• Georgia BlueJason Isbell and the 400 Unit.  This is an album of cover songs by artists from Georgia.  Their guests include Brandi CarlileBrittney Spencer, and Amanda Shires.

• PelagoRyan Hurd.  This is his first full-length album.  His wife Maren Morris joins him on the song “Chasing After You”.

• LatelyLilly Hiatt.  This is her 5th album.  She is the daughter of John Hiatt.

• Feels Like Christmas TimeSteve Wariner.  It features several Christmas classics, plus six original holiday songs.

• In The Blossom of Their ShadePokey LaFarge.  This is his 10th album.

• Barroom MirrorsErin Enderlin.  This is her third album.  Rosanne Cash is on the song “Cut Through Me”, and Terri Clark is on “If There Weren’t So Many Damn Songs”
