New Music from Ed Sheeran, Jerry Cantrell, and Megan Thee Stallion

I don’t know if you heard, but ED SHEERAN has a new album out today. It’s called  = (pronounced “Equals”), and it’s his fourth album. On it, you’ll find songs you’ve never heard before like Bad Habits and Shivers.

Here’s what else is out today.

• BrightenJerry Cantrell.  He is the guitarist and one of the vocalists from Alice in Chains.  This is his third solo album, but his first in 19 years.  It includes a cover of Elton John’s “Goodbye” . . . which Jerry received permission from Elton to use.

• Something for Thee Hotties: From Thee ArchivesMegan Thee Stallion.  This mixtape will include freestyles and a few unreleased songs from her archives.

• EvergreenPentatonix.  This is their sixth holiday album.  Their guests are Alessia Cara and violinist Lindsey Stirling.  They are going on a Christmas tour starting November 27th.

• Now That’s What I Call Music! Volume 80Various Artists.  This compilation includes Post MaloneDua LipaBillie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo.

• Ocean to OceanTori Amos.  This is her 16th album.  She said it’s a, quote, “record about your losses, and how you cope with them.”  You might recognize her from her ’90s hit, Silent All These Years.

• LIVE.LOVE.ASAPASAP Rocky.  This is a 10th anniversary release of his debut mixtape.  It’ll be the FIRST time that it’s available on streaming platforms.

• Bear’s Sonic Journals: Johnny Cash, at the Carousel Ballroom April 24, 1968Johnny Cash.  This is a never-been-heard live album.  It includes new essays by Johnny’s son, John Carter Cash.

• Ain’t No Closing Me DownEddie Montgomery.  He is one-half of the duo Montgomery Gentry.  This is his first solo album, and it’s being exclusively sold at Walmart.  Tanya Tucker joins him on the song “Higher”.

• Naughty ListMitchell Tenpenny.  It includes all seven songs from last year’s EP “Neon Christmas”, plus FOUR additional tracks.  His girlfriend Meghan Patrick joins him on the song, “I Hope It Snows”.

• You Get It AllHayes Carll.  This is his seventh album.  It was co-produced by his wife, Allison Moorer.  Brandy Clark guest stars on the song “In The Mean Time”.

• The Country and the Coast, Side AMorgan Evans.  He is an Australian country singer and the husband of Kelsea Ballerini.  This is a six-song EP.

• BacksliderElvie Shane.  This is his first full-length album.  Of the 15 songs, six were on his “Country Roads” EP that came out in April.  Tenille Townes joins him on the track, “Nothin’ Lasts Forever”.

• The Rest of UsShy Carter.  This is his debut EP.  It includes “Beer with My Friends”, his song with Cole Swindell and David Lee Murphy.  Shy has co-written songs for Tim McGrawCharlie PuthSugarlandJamie FoxxRob Thomas, and Kane Brown.
