It sounds like America is getting tired of JAMES CORDEN.
As soon as it was announced that ARIANA GRANDE and CYNTHIA ERIVO were going to star in the movie version of “Wicked”, someone started a petition asking that they not cast Corden.
It does seem like he’s in almost every musical these days, like “The Prom”, “Into the Woods”, Amazon’s new “Cinderella”, and, most notoriously, “Cats”. And we’ve apparently had enough.
The petition says, “James Corden in no way shape or form should be in or near the production of ‘Wicked’ the movie. That’s pretty much it.”
The petition is seeking 75,000 signatures, and as of last night, it had more than 61,000.
