Adele released her 30 album back in November 2021 and so far, her big singles have been “Easy On Me” and “Oh My God.”
I’m kind of a sucker for the upbeat nature of OMG. According to Genius,
“Oh My God” explores Adele wanting to put herself first but having internal conflicts about it. Following the previous track, “Oh My God” finds Adele taking control of her life after a depressive episode in her life.
It’s got all the moody, black-n-white vibes that just go with Adele’s style… I just don’t totally understand the apples and the chairs yet. I’m HERE for the outfit changes and different looks though.
There’s has to be some kind of metaphor here and I’ll work it out eventually. Enjoy!
