Lizzo Releases New Version Of “Grrrls” After The First One Contained An Ableist Slur

Lizzo was getting some heat for a lyric in one of her new songs from the “Special” album. In her song, “Grrrls,” she used to have a line about being spastic — having involuntary muscle movements or spasms.

While some people may have seen the line in the song as a jab at a group of people, others came in to cast doubt on the idea that Lizzo meant to hurt anyone.
