They’ve been putting it off as long as they can, but now BTS is set to begin their military service, starting with Jin.
Jin, who’s 29, is facing a full military service stint when he turns 30 in December.
BTS’ management group said, “Jin will cancel the request to delay enlistment in late October 2022 and follow the Military Manpower Administration’s relevant procedures for enlistment.
“All other members will also serve the mandatory military duty according to their respective plans.”
BTS is set to reconvene as a group in 2025 which is, of course, eons away, but helping to hold us over until then – a new solo project from Jin. He teased it during a show in South Korea Saturday, but no word on when we can expect it.
