Since September of 2017, the most-streamed song on Spotify has been Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You”. But that changed on New Year’s Eve, when it was overtaken by “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd.
Both songs have more than 3.33 billion streams, but according to the most recent data, “Blinding Lights” has about 1.2 million more streams as of yesterday.
