Has you co-worker been dropping the ball? Maybe ask them if they’re in love! Their feelings might be scientifically distracting them. Brain scans have shown that during the initial stages of falling in love the prefrontal cortex decreases, this is where all of the rational thought and good judgement come from. (This is also why we miss those glaring red flags because our brains aren’t working right, remember “Love is Blind”?) Don’t worry though, the chemical floods will fade and they will eventually return back to the sane person you share a cubicle with…I hope. -Nikki
