Like Being Married? Don’t Say This.

Researchers from the Gunderson Health System have found there are a few key phrases you should avoid if you want to have a happy marriage. “I told you so.” “You’re always in a bad mood.” “It’s your fault.” “What’s wrong with you?” are the kind of phrases that just add trouble and animosity to an already tense situation. Only topped by implying they are just like one of their parents.

Some helpful phrases would be “I hear you” “Help me understand” “How can I help?” “Let’s work together to find a solution” and maybe even “You will NEVER be like your mother”. You’re welcome in advance!
