There’s nothing quite like the emotional rollercoaster of getting an accidental text from a parent. They’re trying to ask your aunt about church potluck sign-ups…
…but they sent it to you, and now you’re googling “what is a jello salad ring?”
Or worse: they meant to text their friend… but you just got a message that says:
“He has no idea I unplugged the Wi-Fi so he’ll leave the basement.”
Here are some real examples we’ve collected (yes, these are all based on true listener trauma):
- 😳 “Bring the wine and the big ladle. It’s bingo night.”
- 💩 “Your father is constipated again. Advise.”
- 😬 “If your uncle asks, the raccoon was already dead.”
- 🍆 “Do you think this emoji means what I think it does?”
Listen, our parents try. But predictive text, group chat confusion, and just plain oversharing make for iconic chaos.
