Quarantine did this man well. Harry Styles just dropped the music video for the next single, “Golden,” off his 2019 album Fine Line and he looks so radiant and all around happy.
The music video pictures Harry running through a small town near the Amalfi Coast in Italy, much like I see him running to me in my dreams (it’s fine, I’m fine). He’s also smiling and acting goofy throughout the whole video. Now he could just be thinking about tacos, but Popsugar seems to think it’s something different . Popsugar quoted Harry from an interview with AP Entertainment saying “It’s one of the first songs when I was making the album and it’s always been a source of joy for me. And I wanted to make a video that encapsulated that. I’d like to think it will maybe cheer a couple of people up. Cheered me up.”
Directed by Ben Turner and Gabe Turner, this video made me wish I was on a beach somewhere basking in the sun’s glow, instead of cooped up on my couch watching the rain pour down. If you need an escape as well, hit play below.
