Taylor is keeping me on my toes the last half of 2020 and I’m totally fine with it.
Not only is she officially re-recording albums 1-5, she’s also releasing a new special on Disney + titled folklore: the long pond studio sessions.
Typically Taylor likes to give us a clue or a heads up when she’s about to do something big. Yesterday she posted this picture of her in what looks to be a log cabin with the caption “not a lot going on at the moment.”

Luckily this time we didn’t have to wait 6 months for an answer, but only 24 hours. This morning Taylor tweeted a trailer for the film. There’s a few interviews included in the special as well as acoustic performances. Taylor touched on the album saying “It’s a product of isolation. This could have been a time where I completely lost my mind. And instead I think, you know, this album was a real flotation device.”
