Ed Sheeran is many things, but a dancer is not one of them.

When Ed Sheeran was an unknown 16-year-old, he tried out for a musical TV series called Britannia High which was like the U.K.’s version of Glee. He didn’t make it on the show, though, because he can’t dance. Like boy band will never be a career option can’t dance.

The producers love Ed’s musical talent (one of them even calls him “the real thing”), but on the dance floor, they were highly unimpressed. One woman watches his steps and says, “Not even an option.” Another says, “Ed hasn’t a clue what he’s doing. But he’s trying.”

His music skills got him through one round of auditions, but it wasn’t enough to land a part on the show. I guess he was just destined for bigger things. You can watch the video here.
