How old were you when you first felt like a true adult? A new poll found 7% of us still don’t feel like grown-ups, or around 1 in 14 people. That includes about 5% of people in their 30s and 40s, and 1% of people over 55.
The most common age when we feel like an adult is 18, and the second most common answer was actually younger than 18. The rest of the top five ages are 21, 25, and 20.
6% of people said they were over 30 when they finally felt like an adult. Which might be the trend now, because a quarter of adults under 25 said they still don’t feel like a real grown-up. 11% of people in their late 20s or early 30s said the same.
