September 30 – A Gala for Dogs

The non-profit, FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic, is throwing a party that is truly, “for the dogs.” A fundraiser for FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic programs, A Gala for Dogs treats our canine friends to a night of fun and frolic, where everything is designed for pups. There will be entertainment for humans, whether they arrive with a dog or not, but the focus is on the goodest girls and boys for the evening.

With a fundraising goal of $25,000, FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic invites the public to A Gala for Dogs, a night of activities catered primarily to canines, but with just as much enjoyment for their humans. For VIPs (Very Important Puppers), the gala offers a signature “puptini” drink, activity stations, prizes, a dog trick contest, a green carpet runway with photos by Furtography Pet Studio, take-home wag bags by City Dogs Grocery, and plenty of high-society socializing. For the humans, the festive night includes live music by The Midtown Mad Men, catered food from BB&B Bread Truck, beer by Sun King, wine from Daniel’s Vineyard, a celebrity appearance by Butler Blue IV, and more.

The money raised from the Gala for Dogs enables the clinic to provide affordable spay/neuter services and vaccinations to the public and partnering organizations. In 2021, FACE surgeons performed 9,751 spay/neuter surgeries, welcomed 10,035 vaccine visits, and provided 2,712 discounted surgeries and vaccines to community cats. Donations made during the event will be directed towards the Client Assistance Fund, which allows clinic services to be provided at reduced cost to those in financial need.

A Gala for Dogs – an evening of fun and folic with our canine friends, will be held in the parking lot of the FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic facility at 1505 Massachusetts Avenue. Tickets are limited and can be purchased online at FaceAnimalClinic.org. Tickets for humans are $50 and tickets for dogs are $25. Humans may bring only one dog each, and dog tickets are limited…retrieve yours now.
