The website TheRinger.com has decided on the best dog in pop culture, and weirdly, it’s not Nikki’s dog Marbles (pictured here).

Their winner was Beethoven (as in the Saint Bernard from the Beethoven movies, not the dead composer). The runners-up were John Wick’s puppy, Frank the Pug from “Men in Black”, Chance the American Bulldog from “Homeward Bound”, Charlie the Labradoodle from “A Star Is Born”, Buddy the Golden Retriever from “Air Bud”, and Olivia from both “Widows” and “Game Night”.

Of very important note here is they disqualified “legendary” dogs like Lassie, Snoopy, Old Yeller, Lady, and Tramp which of course renders this contest a waste of everyone’s time. But congratulations to Beethoven I guess.
